We stayed at morefield campground. I had the idea to drive early and didn't want to do the dishes again. So let's get some food. Waited 45 minutes. Then a worker asked us if we'd like sausage instead of bacon because bacon would take another 10 minutes. So fine do the sausage because we wanted to go. Still took 10 minutes and the moment we got our food an worker showed up with bacon ... So we had sausage (wich I didnt like) instead of bacon.
The food was OK. Pancakes were good. But don't come here for a fast breakfast. It was raining and cold at that moment. Not even once we were offered something to drink for the inconveniences.
Friendly staff, and simple breakfast food. Breakfast burrito, bacon and coffee was good!
Food was alright but expensive. Nice to have a hot meal after a few days of camping.

It is convenient. We grabbed coffee and breakfast burrito on our way out. The burrito was huge but mainly potatoes and we had a side order of potatoes they were cold....
(Translated by Google) Fast service in a nice setting. The paintings on the walls are special and refer back to the time of the cliff dwellers.(Original)Snelle service in een leuk kader. De schilderingen op de muren zijn bijzonder en verwijzen terug naar de tijd van de cliffs dwellers.
The food here was really good. Very impressed. We ate here numerous times while staying at the Morefield campground.
Four of us (middle aged) had the all you can eat pancake breakfast. It included either bacon or sausage, but that was not all you can eat. Drinks, including coffee, were separate. The pancakes are made on the spot, so there can be a long wait if it's busy. The pancakes were so-so. They start off serving 2 pancakes, which are a decent size. They give one at a time for seconds, and that can also involve another wait. It was a pretty time consuming breakfast for something that was just so-so. We chose not to eat there again.
I ate here 3 times. First time was around 7 pm, having walked up from the entrance of the park, when I really was in need of some food. It was all decent, nothing special, but as I'm a hiker, not driving a car, I was glad this place exists within the confines of the park. Because let's not forget this is one of the only places where you can have some hot food within a 5-10 mile radius, otherwise you have to go to e.g. Far View Lodge and you'll pay even more, I guess. It did not bother me that there were only 2 items on the breakfast menu, because when something is good n tasty, it's okay to me (and remember that you are in a National Park, in nature, so choices might be limited, I think it's totally normal). Thing is that the all-you-can-eat-pancakes were - in my eyes/mouth - not soooo tasty, at least not after having two or so. Think there might have to be a slight change in the recipe, for example in the kind of flour to use. Anyway, all in all: I think it's very good this place is there, it's a but pricey, not very tasty food, but all in all I would give it a thumbs up.
We ate breakfast at the Knife Edge two of our mornings in the park. While the menu is limited - all-you-can-eat pancakes and breakfast burritos - the food is tasty. A warm option so close to the campground was welcome, especially since we woke to below freezing temperatures each morning. One note: I had multiple little kids interested in the pancakes, and they let me split one order between multiple kids, which was nice (especially given the price).
Mediocre food, very slow service, and very high prices for what you get.
American style cafe
They serve breakfast from 7am-10am and they offer only two options, a breakfast burrito or allyoi can eat pancakes. The pancakes come with your choice of either sausage or bacon. The pancakes were nothing special, but it was nice to have all we could pancakes for breakfast for $8 a person. The staff was super nice as well.
My wife and I had breakfast here as we left Mesa Verde National Park. We were surprised that there were only two items on the menu, pancakes or a breakfast burrito. We both got the burrito. Although the eggs and sausage in the burrito were good the best part was the chunky salsa served on top of the burrito. It is self-service; i.e. you order at a counter and pick up your food when ready. There are outdoor tables for sitting.
People were freindly and food was good for being in the middle of a national park. A bit expensive but that is also expected. The steak wrap is good, especially if you like hardy food. They serve all you can eat pancake breakfast, but we didn't make it before 10am. Maybe tomorrow...
