⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My husband and I loved this place. Slow Groovin’ BBQ has that perfect mix of great food, great people, and the kind of atmosphere you just don’t find everywhere. The brisket and ribs were honestly some of the best we’ve ever had. It was the kind of meal where everyone at the table keeps saying, “oh my gosh, try this.”
My husband said it might be his favorite place on earth. It’s relaxed, the staff is genuinely friendly, and the whole place just feels warm and welcoming. The beautiful mountain setting doesn’t hurt either.
If you’re anywhere near Marble, go!!!! It’s one of those spots you’ll talk about long after the trip is over.

This was fun - make the trip to Marble, the smoked turkey, sausage and pulled pork were outstanding. Brisket was fork tender and the sides are very good!

One of the best BBQ/Smokehouses in all of Colorado, they're only open from May to October, then they close for the season. They are in the heart of the Elk Mountains at 7,960 ft in elevation. It's about a 40 min drive from Glenwood Springs.
The smoked chicken is absolutely phenomenal. Crispy skin, the rub is to die for, the chicken is moist and incredibly tender. The ribs are perfectly smoked on an enormous stick burner smoker with hickory wood and pecan. Tender and tasty with an excellent dry rub. It's pricey but worth every dime when I go. My plate and drink before tip were $40. But you get your moneys worth. The cornbread isn't good at all, it has a peculiar taste and is very dry and crumbly. The beans and slaw were good. A little small on the portion for the beans but you get so much meat you're full.
Oh and this place is so popular, sometimes there's a line down the street two blocks from the steps. So be prepared to wait. I love this place though! I always make it a point to stop in when I'm in the area.
This place is LIIIIIT!! Came here for grandma’s 94th birthday. Our vibing waiter Auzzie is the raddest guy in the valley! Maybe the world. He got the whole restaurant to sing to grandma. And the food is to die for (luckily grandma did not die for it this time). Good food good people good times. Thanks Auzzie!

Great bbq place in the middle of mountains. Was wheeling by crystal mills and on our way out heard we had to stop in. Boy did we. Great food. Pastrami sandwich, bbq pork, chicken sandwich, and some Mac and cheese. All the food was super good, great service and a lively place. They’ll get you drinks to were you are waiting while you wait for your table
