Great food! Love this place!
Excellent food good beer options
I had the opportunity to hangout here for 2 hours waiting on my food. All customers were met with a cheerful greeting and great service beer is great too! However a technical glitch caused my food order not to be processed. Nothing bad about this place just something to watch out for. Will be back if we are back in town
Stopped by Smoking River Brewing and was immediately impressed by the atmosphere... fun, welcoming, and well thought-out. The theme is unique and really ties the place together. Staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home. A great spot to kick back with a cold beer. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!
Pretty disappointing. The back story, 2 years ago we discovered this brewery on a trip to Meeker after mountain biking their amazing trail system. We live in Rifle. The vibe was great! They had a couple of guys serving up amazing BBQ sandwiches out front, food in the restaurant, great beer, pretty plants on the patio, great music playing, great customer service, water bowls for the dogs. It was a vibe! Fast forward to this past weekend, we decided to make the trip up to go here again, expecting the same but it was the polar opposite experience. Horrible, dated pop country was playing at nauseam, no plants outside besides the ones that were dying from lack of water, and the outdoor seating was littered with trash on the ground, blowing away in the wind. I actually chased some trash down to put in the bin. My guy ordered us beers which were fine but the food situation was comical. We ordered two chicken sandwiches and we got just that. A slab of previously frozen chicken breast (fried) on a pathetic bun with a pittance of french fries sprinkled on the side. No condiments, no sauces, no lettuce, no tomato, no pickles, onions, nothing for $15. I went back in to ask the restaurant for some lettuce/tomato/onions which felt super awkward as the person seemed inconvenienced by the request. Anyhow, not sure if it's under new ownership or something has changed but this was NOT the place we fell in love with a couple years back. We won't be back. Sad!
We stopped at Smoking River Brewing on Father's Day, after a day of grinding it out on some trails and shooting photos for Road Life Magazine, and had a great experience.
Ben was awesome (GO ARMY) and super helpful, giving me samples to try, while sharing great places we should visit. The beer was delicious, and my favorite was the Wooleybugger Stout. The Hazy IPA was also good.
We ordered the Texas BBQ Pizza, which was fantastic, but it had way more jalapeños and bread than brisket. It would have been nice to have more protein.
I always try to buy to-go beers to support local breweries, but a can of their stout was $9.50 -- way too expensive in my opinion, especially when I can get a six-pack of equally great beer for a couple of dollars more.
Overall, the brewery has a very cool vibe and I'd recommend stopping by to check it out if you're ever in Meeker, Colorado.
Good service. Thanks for remaking a pizza for me no questions asked.
Best food and drinks
Beer and food were great, go in the door on the left. The Trout Sweater is amazing! Food is slow but delicious!
This was a low key brewery with great beer, and delicious food (we had the beaver tail fried bread and Texas dust wings 🤩). The beer list was also extremely varied and included a large selection of seltzer flavors. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone visiting or passing through.

I get it’s the only brewery in town but I have never been to a place you have to order your beer on one side of the brewery and your food on the other. What a pain. You have to pay twice. Never seen that before it is such a pain. And get some wait staff already. Food is pricey and you have to get your own stuff. Customer service is horrible.
We love coming to this brewery. We bring our autistic/non-speaking kiddo with us and he loves it too! The staff is incredible at making him feel comfortable and welcome. If he covers his ears they will offer to turn the music down or they will just turn it down without asking. Even though that isn't necessary, and we certainly don't expect it, it's really the gesture that means so much to us. We also had a gentlemen eating there give our little guy a handmade concrete lady bug to paint and put outside. The people are wonderful and so welcoming to us. This means so much to families like ours. My heart is full. Thank you!
This place is a local, small town vibe with Great friendly staff! Food was phenomenal and the vibes are unmatched.
It's a place of my own heart!
From the music being played, to the food being served!
I will forever come back here when visiting the Towm of Meeker, CO.
Nice place good beer
There is only one register and bartender, so be ready to wait in line for a good amount of time. The beer is amazing, the pizza used to be amazing but they changed the crust (miss the other crust). They are a fairly new business run by already very busy people. It is a great place to eat and drink.
