The location is great, the view is wonderful, and the service was really good too. The food was alright, considering your limited options its probably the best option for the park. If you want a nice sit down dinner, for sure this is really the only option you have.
Being captive in the park, Aramark is adequate, but there’s nothing special here. The food is cafeteria quality, but if you pack a cooler, and can skip even 1 or 2 Aramark meals, you’re better off. The 2 exceptions are: 1) the short ribs were amazing, get that. 2) the ribeye was bad bad bad. Tougher than shoe leather, and they remade it for me and it was even worse. Skip the ribeye.
This is a fine dining experience right in Mesa Verde. The staff was on point and friendly. I was concerned about this prior to our visit because several reviews complained about the service. In fact, there was a great vibe from the waitstaff, and all of the customers' visiting seemed pleased.
