Nice quiet home cooked meals, old fashioned soda flavors, and milk shakes

Absolutely excellent food. Their prime rib on prime rib nights is always mouthwatering good. The cinnamon roll French toast is one of my favorite things to steal a bite of from my wife's plate. The breads and pies, house-made! I'll drive all the way from Monte to Moffat just to eat here.

Great, little restaurant that serves delicious food in handsome portions. It's hard to find authentic places like this these days.

We stopped on our way from Salida to the Great Sand Dunes National Park for breakfast, and it didn't only hit the spot but made our day already.

Highly recommend a visit!

This place is SUPER cute and delicious! We found it looking for a place to stop on our way to the hot springs and were thrilled with how it turned out. The restaurant interior features items related to the family and Grammy herself. For example the floor is actually the gym floor from the school they went to. Service was very friendly and they had lots of options on the menu as well. We went for the yak burger and fries. Everything here is homemade all the way down to the buns and ketchup. As a side note, the ketchup was probably the best ketchup I have ever had. The burger was delicious, and we also saved room for dessert. I had the plain homemade vanilla ice cream. It was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend if you’re driving down this middle of nowhere road in Colorado and want a local bite to eat.

Over from the UK on a road trip with our Americans friends and up until today our experiences of American food has been pretty poor; nothing fresh, not a vegetable in sight and everything smothered in gloop, dressing or cheese. BUT this place was a chance discovery and we had a great meal, all clearly made in house - even the bread and ice cream- fries made from actual local potatoes, beef that tasted of beef and an excellent green chilli. As a chef I can appreciate the effort these folks are putting into things by using local produce and actually cooking instead of opening packets. Waitress was charming and looked after us well. $60 for 4 of us. Such good value. I hope you go from strength to strength.

Dietary restrictions: They readily provided GF options for our friend.

Excellent food, excellent staff, great atmosphere. Don’t let the outside fool you! You have to try the Cowboy Hand Grenade.

Great Stop in the middle of nowhere. It has not just great food but also the right amount of Charme to make it a perfect experience.
