I've always been meaning to try this place, and after another trip to the SLV and Sand Dunes, made sure to stop as a thunderstorm was building ahead. Mike, the barista, was incredibly kind and pointed out that all iced coffee is iced down with “coffee ice cubes.” This was certainly a nice tough on a hot afternoon. Will return!

Next time I'll just wait till I get to a town for coffee. I seemed to interrupt the workers tasks. Felt like I walked into someone's house while they were doing chores and wasn't supposed to be there, so uncomfortable and awkward.

Very calming for such a stressful day. Peaceful music. Good coffee, and nice gifts. The lady was nice.

Wheelchair accessibility: They need a wheelchair accessibility door. Just a button to open the door would be good.

Good coffee and beautiful souvenirs
But the biggest gold there was an extremely warm and wonderful lady who stood behind the counter, thank you it was a pleasure to meet you

I would say this one is hit or miss. I drive through town often and decided to try this place out. The first experience was pretty good. The coffee was delicious, and the merch was fun and creative. The barista did have an unwelcoming energy behind a fake smile. I honestly couldn’t place what I was feeling until I read some other reviews. I had no idea why I felt that way but the coffee was delicious so I didn’t think much of it until my second experience….

I have 15+ years of experience in the coffee industry and I have to say my second experience here was absolutely appalling and a complete waste of money! First, I was the only customer at the time and the barista was apparently very busy making a shopping list. Another person who was waiting for the list, explained that the barista was too busy making a list and took my order in their place. I asked if I could use my personal travel mug to save waste, I never imagined the person would use my personal mug I had been sipping off of all morning as the actual steam pitcher. The steam wand goes into everyone’s drinks! I honestly wish I would’ve called it and backed out at that point. Instead I thought I would give them a chance. Maybe it’s a fluke? Then as the person was steaming the oat milk my heart sank. They kept steaming and steaming and steaming. I thought, ok maybe the machine has low pressure or something and it takes ALOT longer? I know better but tried to give the benefit of the doubt. I also ordered a burrito which was set on the counter as they said 3 minutes in the microwave. I didn’t realize I would be tasked with microwaving it myself until my severely burned coffee was finally done. ? I ended up returning the burrito, not because I am a snob, I am fine microwaving a burrito at home. However, when I buy one at a cafe I kind of expect a finished product for my money. The person standing in for the barista was rude and not welcoming at all! I even said “have a great day!” as they were leaving….No response at all. This seems like it could be a great shop/roastery if the energy wasn’t so off putting and people who don’t have the skill level stayed away from the espresso machine! I would have waited for decent cup of coffee! This was honestly the worst cup of coffee I have ever had! The shots were over extracted and the oat milk was so burned it really wasn’t drinkable at all. I don’t even have words for the fact that they used my unwashed personal mug as a steam pitcher. ??‍♀️ I dumped it down the drain and replaced it with gas station drip coffee which was an improvement. Bitter baristas make bitter coffee! Just saying!
