Baldo's Mexican Restaurant

Tired of getting whimsy burritos for a mega price when you go to Mexican restaurants in the valley. 13$ burrito , maybe 8$.. why does the owner have to text back even saying they are horribly done? I work at Wilbur Ellis in monte vista and we were hard working all morning shoveling snow and we decided to come to your establishment to order myself and two of my co workers breakfast burritos, they all were terrible, excuse me horribly made. We will come back for different breakfast burritos and when I do, it will be all three of me and my two co workers. Ridiculous why we can’t make it right on round 1

Terrible service from the waitress.
Menudo without meat, only corn grains, I asked the waitress where is the meat of the Menudo because they served me pure corn, she only answered that it was all they had left over ??
I don't understand how they offer a Menudo that is leftovers and without meat.

I definitely won't eat there again, this is the third and last time.
The first two times they had served me very well but this waitress was not as miserable as this time.

Huevos rancheros was exactly what I needed while passing through Monte Vista. Great spot to dine.

So I’m in town for an event happening over the weekend and it was late I’m sure the restaurant was closed, but I took my chance anyway I walked in and yes I was late but still got served the 10 taco meal and a drink. That is watt I call great Service. Very much appreciated and if your in Monte Vista I recommend that you stop in and check em out. Luke Medina aka SoHo Royalty ??

The 10 taco deal is a JOKE! I've been to plenty of Mexican restaurants across the country and I've never seen tacos so lack luster and tiny. The fries in our chili fries were BARELY existent. It was basically sauce and toppings with very little French fries. I've never spent almost $50 at a restaurant and felt so jipped.

They need to DO BETTER. small towns have very little choice in restaurants and they are taking advantage of this fact.

We spent 44 bucks for 10 tacos and an order of asada fries! Tacos were average and very very tiny! No flavor besides the onions and cilantro. They barely put any fries in our asada fries. Like you gotta be kidding me!!! Just a bunch sauce. What a mess!! Whoever prepared our meal really short changed us. Guess cause it was carryout! No way they would've put this on my table if I was sitting down! Most definitely not worth what we paid! Smh

Amazing little Mexican restaurant we came across going thur Monte Vista such good food a friendly staff. The chef even came out to make sure we were happy. We were very happy thank you we even had to get a souvenir hat to take home with us all the way to California.

I have been here soooo many times. Very consistent and amazing every time. Get the Baldo’s omelette. Hits the spot. If you’re really hungry the grande breakfast burrito will put you to sleep. One way ticket to yum yum land!

Great local Mexican food. Baldo is a top notch bussiness owner that cooks and has complete control over his place. The taste and quality of the food is excellent. The service is impressive. Although breakfast is my go-to, the lunch/dinner is excellent as well.

Great friendly outgoing staff! They were great with my kids. Good Mexican food - got the trio combo and I was very satisfied.
