Baldo's Mexican Restaurant

One star is to many but I can't give less. We were seated, after 10 minutes I had to flag down a server to order coffee an water, We decided to order food at the same time to perhaps speed things up. Ultimately we walked out after 30 minutes never seeing our server, drinks, or food again. Save yourself time skip this place.

We sat down and nothing happened for 20 minutes. That gave us enough time to think about our food order. When he finally came around he took our drink and food order AT the same time and said it would all come out soon. 45 minutes later after nothing happened and zero acknowledgement from the staff, my partner and I up and left. Avoid this place if you can.

horrible only thing good is soppapias

Food and service are excellent. Every time we have been to Baldos we have never been disappointed. We had the Trio combination plate and left full and happy.

Tired of getting whimsy burritos for a mega price when you go to Mexican restaurants in the valley. 13$ burrito , maybe 8$.. why does the owner have to text back even saying they are horribly done? I work at Wilbur Ellis in monte vista and we were hard working all morning shoveling snow and we decided to come to your establishment to order myself and two of my co workers breakfast burritos, they all were terrible, excuse me horribly made. We will come back for different breakfast burritos and when I do, it will be all three of me and my two co workers. Ridiculous why we can’t make it right on round 1

Terrible service from the waitress.
Menudo without meat, only corn grains, I asked the waitress where is the meat of the Menudo because they served me pure corn, she only answered that it was all they had left over ??
I don't understand how they offer a Menudo that is leftovers and without meat.

I definitely won't eat there again, this is the third and last time.
The first two times they had served me very well but this waitress was not as miserable as this time.

Huevos rancheros was exactly what I needed while passing through Monte Vista. Great spot to dine.

So I’m in town for an event happening over the weekend and it was late I’m sure the restaurant was closed, but I took my chance anyway I walked in and yes I was late but still got served the 10 taco meal and a drink. That is watt I call great Service. Very much appreciated and if your in Monte Vista I recommend that you stop in and check em out. Luke Medina aka SoHo Royalty ??
