Good selection of fresh produce.
Everything was neat and tidy.
Everything was neatly arranged on the shelves.
I like the bakery section here.
Employees were patient and kind.
Is it under new management or owner? One freezer down and has been for awhile. Now no produce displayed. May be re thinking on going elsewhere to shop.
Good prices and friendly staff. A good place to shop. I have seen people complaining about the 10% surcharge. That is a very low markup and the store is clear about it. Top Value is much cheaper than Safeway in Monte Vista.
I love the people that work there and the prices. However, when you walk in there is an overwhelming smell of rats and mice and possibly a roach infestation.
I don't understand this add 10% at checkout. Their prices are the same or more expensive than any other store then they add 10%. What a scam. I remember when their prices were low. Go on Sunday I don't know who this lady that works there. What exactly is her role. I went in one Sunday and she was talking about what she stalked or what's on the shelves. She should be stalking if that's her role. I understand good customer service, but she takes it to the extreme. While she was gabbing the guy at the cash register needed money, and was trying to get Jacob to help check out. My self and other customers were waiting to get checked out,I walked out. What she should've done was jumpe on the other register. I went today and there she was talking about what was on the shelves. Tip you can't stock anything on the shelves if you lose customers.
The added 10 percent is 10 percent more for the same items at Jacjs Market in La Jara.

This place must have a lot of theft because staff certainly watches one suspiciously.I learned that the shelf price tags are what Top Value paid for the product, then 10% is added to that price that the shopper pays - so one must do math to arrive at actual price.I've had to fetch shelf tag for something that was on sale at a more reduced price, but at register it rang up as full price, so one must be vigilant with sale items ringing up correctly so as to not be overcharged. Also, when Safeway is out of kombucha, Top Value seems to have it, though not much of it, but it's there.
Surcharge. Lol DO NOT SHOP HERE.
Always good prices and very nice employees.
The staff ate extremely amazing here.
