Good prices and friendly staff. A good place to shop. I have seen people complaining about the 10% surcharge. That is a very low markup and the store is clear about it. Top Value is much cheaper than Safeway in Monte Vista.
This place must have a lot of theft because staff certainly watches one suspiciously.I learned that the shelf price tags are what Top Value paid for the product, then 10% is added to that price that the shopper pays - so one must do math to arrive at actual price.I've had to fetch shelf tag for something that was on sale at a more reduced price, but at register it rang up as full price, so one must be vigilant with sale items ringing up correctly so as to not be overcharged.Also,...
