We did not find the food as great as the people recommending it apparently did. The waitress was strangely loud, yelling and laughing across the room like, really loud and really weird. Not interested in returning.

Only reason why I'm leaving this review.. I Live an hour way. i come here to eat. It is 7:25pm . I got told that they were closed. But there is still a ton of people in there eating and waiting on their food. They say they close that 8 o'clock online. .. I had a party of seven. Then I've seen a party at 2 walk in the door and not come back out.. They allowed them to go in and eat. We have came in here and eat many a times .. Their service is not the greatest but they still have good food... I guess maybe I just need to start finding somewhere else to eat and it's not Going to be here anymore. I love to support family owned businesses because I have one myself. What's the worst part about I always told people . The best place to come eat for a Mexican food. Was here..

Always my Go-To Mexican restaurant. Their culinary treatment of their various dishes is second to none! It is a treat to sample a new dish every time we visit. BUT, Amelia's has raised their prices, and by that I mean 20-30%. Perhaps this is just catching up to what has been happening, perhaps the HUGE increase is so they don't have to raise then again for a few years. Now I don't mind paying for GREAT FOOD. But one thing that I noticed, was that the meal portions were smaller. To raise your prices is one thing, to make your portions smaller at the same time is like rubbing your nose in it. We will give them another try and see if the smaller portions continue! I'll let you know!

Just had nachos at Amelia's and they leave a lot to be desired. it was just beans topped with a couple handfuls of chips and ground beef. they were lacking guacamole, sour cream, cheese and diced tomatoes. maybe the rest of their menu is good but don't bother with nachos.

I've seen a practically spice-immune person put down their Diablo shrimp because they were too spicy. Love the big plates of food every time I go.Kid-friendliness: Kids always welcome here.
