I can't believe the prices for small portions. $13.99 for a small soup...and then pay extra for rice...the soup was okay but there were more inedible bay leaves than edible soup ingredients. This place is a rip off.

Good food, good services, good prices. The staff is really friendly.
We ordered pad thai noodles and asked it to be medium spicy but what was delivered was extremely sweet ..for a moment i though it might be some dessert, also I did not find any of the veggies and barely some prawns ..totally disappointed it cost us $20 which was not worth the food 😕

TLDR: amazing food. Horrible service.
1. The Asian lady in the counter should learn some customer service.
2. We ordered takeout. There were 4 menu items: 2 fried rice , 1 curry and 1 sushi. They did not include the sushi. It was 8.53 pm. She locked the door.
We knocked, she saw us and decided to ignore us. Luckily there was a customer who opened the door for us. We went in, told that she missed an item. She handed us the sushi and said, “HOW DID YOU GET IN”

We are locals and eat here occasionally. This place is really hit or miss. Usually the food is decent but can be inconsistent. There’s only one lady who is the waitress and does it all. So if it’s busy you will have to get your own water, napkins, sauces etc or wait a long time for anything. They really need to hire someone to help her. They have taken some of our favorites off the menu like chicken satay, Vietnamese egg rolls and they did away with the popular lunch specials. I got some mango sticky rice to go today and it was a mess- unappetizing. If you go I hope you catch them on a good day.

The pad thai was ok, the pork buns not so much. And the pho was not very edible.

This was the entire amount of food for $18 a plate. I showed a fork for reference. The white Chinese style rice boxes were not even filled to the top upon receiving it. For these prices I would expect double the serving size. The taste is fine, average. I will not return.

Brought my folks here for their 61st anniversary! Thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
We started with Thai Spring Rolls that came out hot and ready to eat! The Pad Se-Eaw was delicious. The Tom Kha Pot wasn’t our favorite. Loved the Thai Garlic Noodle. One was beef the other was chicken! So delicious and I’m not sure I’m gonna ever get anything else other than that again!
We finished with a couple of plates of Sticky Mango Rice that was literally to die for! Both plates were cleaned in mere minutes! Good meal to celebrate!!

Restaurantji Recommends
This restaurant is awesome! Food is excellent and the staff is very courteous. They serve Thai, Japanese, and other Asian food. Large menu with lots of choices. If you Love Thai, this place shouldn't be missed.
Gluten free options! Great service. I recommend this restaurant.
The price was expensive for lunch for what was received. Stale, store bought tamago that was too sweet and tasted fishy, cool and dry sushi rice, small portions of sashimi, the cook forgot the shrimp though it was listed for the dish on the menu, very slow service from the cook despite being one of only two parties in the whole restaurant at lunch.
I should have known when I went in for lunch and there was nobody else there that Chang's should have been a no go. The cook was super slow at about 30 minutes for a simple dish, and there were too many errors counting at least 4-5 with only one plate he was responsible for to justify the elevated price, or to return here again. Maybe they had a better cook before and thus the earlier better reviews, or perhaps locals don't have the experience to know good Thai food. The current chef for lunch on this day performed badly, because he was very slow in preparation, making multiple mistakes, at the restaurant's elevated prices. I felt disrespected and taken advantage of by the carless attitude and wanton execution of the restaurant.
The food was pretty good, I would say a little too sweet but that is normal for Thai cuisine. The Vietnamese spring rolls were amazing. My family got Pho, pad Thai with chicken, Tom ka, and red curry duck and all of the dishes were delicious. Additionally we got fried cheesecake for dessert. The portions are very large so I would recommend sharing.
避雷种族歧视!I stopped by for dinner while passing through Montrose. The food was decent but service was disappointing. We waited over 30 minutes for the check with empty dirty plates in front of us. Despite trying several times to get the waitress’s attention, she claimed not to notice us — even though there were only like 4 tables and she was serving the one right next to us. When I finally approached her for the check, she said we had to pay at the kiosk, yet just minutes earlier I saw her bringing checks to a table of white customers. As minorities, this felt unfair and disappointing.
