I was very happy with the service, and enjoyed the swordfish and monk fish. I will go back, and here is why. I can go and get mediocre fish and yes it will be less expensive, or I can go to divine get a swordfish pay a little more and enjoy a nice dinner with my wife at home. I know cost keeps going up, that goes for everywhere, however when it comes to fish i will always go there first. I want to buy it and know I'm eating a nice piece of fish. The owner of Divine was pleasant explained everything about his program. I think we all forget the price has to cover rent and utilities and has to make a living. I encourage people to support this business we are lucky to have it here in Montrose. I think a crappy cheeseburger is going for around $19.00 now just food for thought no pun intended.

$37 for bone-in lamb loin chops in a vacuum sealed bag with cloth wrapped around them. $37 for weight diluted with bone, cloth/paper, plastic, and sealed moisture weight. Also, the lamb is not local to Colorado, so it's likely been frozen. The pricing is outrageous and insulting.

I bought a pound of mussels today for Mussels fra Diavolo. They were slightly larger than the grocery store mussels, with a much better flavor. They were creamy & buttery, unlike the grocery store variety, and the meat was tender, not chewy (reposted to include pictures).

We felt really lucky to have found Divine Fish and Meat. Jolene was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She even offered us a sample of sushi grade tuna. It was buttery and delicious, just as she suggested. We didn't purchase any meat, but the swordfish steaks we bought turned out delicious. The trout and halibut we purchased will be on future menus. We will definitely return. It was worth the hour drive.
