food is great but the lady that greets you at the door and waits most of the tables is super rude and unwelcoming. My friends and I call her ms.eyeroll

Great place for some good, tasty Indian food in Montrose. I'd been here some 10+ years ago and it was nice to see that the place was still around and the food was still delicious. Service was great and the perfect way to wind down a busy weekend.
Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options to choose from for dinner or lunch. Spice level can be adjusted to your taste.

Found mold of my gar gar cake which is going to get me to call health control.
Ordered takeout from Guru’s and was impressed by the food. We ordered a vegetable biryani, bengan bhartha, and a chana masala. Asked for spicy and spice level was great. Love that they have vegetarian and vegan options. Portions were large, everything was tasty.

Food was ok.But I don't know the tip is optional right??and also how much you want to pay it depends on the customer. But here in the bill they have already deducted the tip and tax .I didn't felt right.

Restaurantji Recommends
This restaurant was recommended to us in the community as having a buffet. The website clearly states "all you can eat" and mentions the buffet. When we arrived the signage in the window says "buffet". But when we entered I stepped into the room that had what looked like the tables for serving buffet but they were empty. The waitress said, "No buffet.". I asked, "Ever? Or did we miss it?". (Although the website says it is served until 2:30 PM.). She replied, "Ever.". I suggested they update their website and signage then. She just stared at me and went back to what she was doing. Since that was the only reason we went there, we left. How hard is it to update your website and take a scraper to your window?

Have visited here a few times. Their dishes are traditional and consistently good, but service can be slow.

We recently attended a Farewell celebrations for one of our staff at Guru's. The Staff and the food buffet that they set up for us were wonderful! Really looking forward to going back!!

This place has some pretty decent food, the service on the other hand was horrible. They charge a 15% fee for dining to make up for the tip they won't ever get, due to there poor work ethic. Definitely will not be returning.
