We have been here a few times. I really enjoy the food and atmosphere here when we come in. The food is flavorful and great portions. My wife and I stay away from the country gravy, but the brown gravy is always on point on the mashed potatoes. They also have a cucumber infused gin and tonic that is insane. So good! It is a limited thing, but go try it. Worth it.
Have been to Jimmers several times and the food had been decent to good. Went for Supper the other day and ordered a 10 ounce prime rib, the waitress was very nice and polite and great service. She assured me they had the best prime rib in town. I hate to say it was the worst I have ever had. It was so tough and hard to chew that it was almost not worth eating, baked potato was hard in the middle. Had I not been so hungry, I probably would not have finished it. I'm pretty sure it was a corned beef, as the seasoning resembled corn beef seasoning and it was way over smoked. This is the first time I had ordered the prime rib and was pretty disappointed. Sorry guys, but did not enjoy this meal. Have been with a buddy that ordered it a while back and he said his was good and tender. Most of the time it's great food, this time it was not.

Great food our waitress was very attentive, even though it was busy on a Friday. Classic barbecue joint ambience. The prime rib was fantastic. My companions had barbecue, and they were satisfied and full. The desserts are a little misleading and lean though.

Absolutely delicious BBQ and friendly service to go with it
First time here we were seated immediately and given menus along with taking our drink order. We were very pleased with our server Trevin who was extremely friendly and attentive. Loved his since of humor too! We ordered a Sirloin Coulette and Beer Battered Fish. My steak was awesome and cooked to perfection. For a little extra I got my potato loaded. Mac was good and salad was great. The fish tasted great but my hubby wished he had ordered the half order. He loved his coleslaw and fries. I topped my dinner off with a slice of Mud Pie and carried my leftovers along with the pie to our overnight accommodations. The food did not last through the night. Very satisfied to say the least. The price was a little more than what we are accustomed to pay in our area but average for Montrose I believe. Thank you to all and many blessings for this New Year!

Salads are a generous size and other menu items are creative as well as delicious. I decided to give this place a try through DoorDash. What kind of barbecue place sends out barbecue with no barbecue sauce? I Bought a pound of brisket that I can enjoy. I’m a truck driver so I can’t just run to The store and buy barbecue sauce real quick. What a waste of $70. I would really like a refund I could not be more disappointed, and I feel like I was ripped off. I tried to call the store as soon as I realized that there was no barbecue sauce and of course they had already closed.
