Love this spot! Had some delicious lattes, snacks and took a loaf of sourdough home. Really nice and welcoming staff! Will definitely return

Im so glad that this building is open again and that its a coffee shop/bakery/restaurant! They have the most decadent selection of breads and pastries. I had to buy the sourdough! I was surprised by the selection of food and toasts that they had. It’s clearly a local fave because there was no indoor seating. They have a decent sized area to sit outside as well and they’re pet friendly which is a huge plus! The staff was really helpful and friendly. Definitely check them out on your way to the San Juan’s! Cheers!

We stopped just to check out the place and get a pastry and coffee in the morning before a long drive. The staff was super friendly. Loved it!

My wife and I decided to give this local bakery a try and OMG, it is quite a treasure. They are renowned for their blueberry lemon scones and I can confirm they the rave reviews are well justified. I make my own blueberry scones and they are often requested by family and friends, but these are so much better. We also tried one of their breakfast burritos, which was large enough to share. Clearly, the best I've ever had. How good? We bought another to have for lunch. We also bought another blueberry lemon scones and an apple pie scones to have for breakfast tomorrow. To be clear, I'm very picky about the food I eat because I'm a very good cook and baker, not to brag, and I usually feel I can do better at home, but not with Ladybird. I wish I lived locally cuz if I did, I'd volunteer to help out 3 or 4 mornings a week just to lend a hand. I'm retired, I enjoy baking, and I have time. No pay needed; just a scones. Ladybird...give a try. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I decided on a whim to go check out Ouray and some towns south of Montrose while visiting BCGNP. Since my body runs almost exclusively on espresso and scones/croissants, I scoped out some cafes on the way and we stopped here.

First off, the building exterior is unique and the bird theme inside is fantastic. I haven't gotten to the cookie or the brownie we got yet, but the scone is the best I have ever had. We may be stopping again on the way back to Montrose later today...

Side note: Also once inside, we also noticed an awesome painting almost identical to one in our AMAZING "Birdhouse" bird-themed, Montrose AirBnB. Turns out, we coincidentally are staying in the owners rental spot, which we also highly recommend.

My (now) fiance and I visit Ridgway at least once a year to visit friends, and we stumbled upon Ladybird at the farmers market one Friday last week. We got some more goodies before heading back home in Omaha. We purchased a few cookies and scones. My favorite scones are the ginger peach and strawberry rhubarb. The green chili cheddar, cranberry lemon ginger and others are great as well!

Holy moly. I was in a hurry so I grabbed a baked good to go- ginger honey peach scone. I am a scone snob and this one was sheer perfection. The atmosphere was lovely and staff was super friendly. I will be planning future trips between Ouray and Montrose during Labybird’s business hours so I can try more of their menu. Happy they are here!

Absolutely the most amazingly comfortable establishment on the west slope. Obviously an owner that is passionate about the bakery. Best fresh scones anywhere, even the music offers a wonderful change from the sammo. I recommend taking the quick trip to sit in a spoil yourself kinda brunch on the patio.

We had one scone that was raw on the inside and one that was perfectly delicious. The coffees were great and the staff was really friendly. The little yard was so cozy with great places to sit and enjoy.
