Service was excellent! Waiter was extremely friendly and attentive the entire meal - without being pesky. Food was delicious! I had the enchilada and tamale combo plate - my hubby had the enchilada, tamale and taco plate. Can’t say enough good things about all of it but those tamales? Sooooooo delicious! Fresh, hot and just the right amount of masa to meat ratio. Could have eaten a plate of just those! 🫔🫔🫔 If you’re ever passing through Montrose - and are looking for a great place to eat - Mi Mexico is the place you’re looking for!

We ate here a week ago while on a road trip. One of us is vegan and they have good vegan options. We ordered vegan enchiladas which were very tasty with a nice sause and black beans and rice on the side. One unique thing here was their mushroom salsa - very tasty! The place has very colorful decor and the servers were friendly and the food was reasonably priced.

Sad to say, they have lost my business. El Jimador appreciates my business, Mi Mexico no longer does. Their food and drinks are NOT any better. Their prices are much higher! If you're white...it's like going into a nail salon where they talk about you while you're sitting right there. Don't waste your money or your patronage. There are restaurants in Montrose that appreciate your business. This isn't one of them.
