Went to lunch with friends, service was ok, we were the only ones in the restaurant. It felt like we were being rushed out. Right after our food arrived they brought the check. They were still open til evening so we didn't understand the rush. We left pretty early because we didn't feel welcome. Food was super good

We ordered the "in house country fried steak" breakfast.When seated we ordered coffee, tea and two waters. The coffee and tea arrived , no creamer even though we requested creamer. No water. Silverware was brought to our table after the meal arrived. Had to ask for water after the meal was served. No coffee refills. The creamer arrived seconds before the meal arrived. All late items had to be brought to us by other servers.There was not one item made from scratch on the breakfast. Frozen steaks, rehydrated potatoes, gravy from a dry/packaged mix. Wait, the eggs were real.A terrible place to eat. Somehow, I think it is typical for Montrose.I hope the establishment reads this. I am the person that wrote "Do Better" on the back of my receipt. I almost forgot. Toast comes unbuttered, with no butter on the table.

My hash browns were hard as a rock. They are definitely not using fresh potatoes. My mother went there a couple weeks ago and said the same thing. I argued with her that i love this place and they would never do that but color me surprised. They probably have 3 week old potato scraps going out.Edit: don't forget the Beijing 2008 and bamboo everywhere lol.

Every time I order, I tell my server I am allergic to tomatoes . I know she writes it down correctly, so this is no reflection on her. The kitchen screws up my order EVERY TIME. Without a doubt, my food comes out with tomatoes on/or, in some part of my food. I have stopped ordering food. ? I can't take the risk. Also, I have tried ordering egg dishes, thinking, this should be safe, NOPE. First bite. I CRUNCH down on egg shell. Who eats egg shells? Every single time I have ordered an egg base vegetarian egg dish I've gotten eggshells in my food. That leaves me with no protein choice except plain pinto beans. Who wants to pay $5.00 for pinto beans? I did once. Never again. Please add decaf. Green tea. That way I'll be able to at least order a drink. By the way. I am a diabetic, please educate your staff on how VERY difficult it is for us to eat out if no choices are offered. Thanks for listening.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are basically non - existent, unless you want to be charged for every individual item. FREAKING NOT ACCEPTABLE.Dietary restrictions: Staff, mostly the cooks and line cooks, need to be educated in regards to diabetics.

Amazing. A good skillet is hard to find and this spot has AMAZING skillets. Wonderfully nice service, and good coffee. Would recommend.

I went today in the morning, and the waitress Carmen served me, to begin with she sent the busser to take our drinks, in a very bad mood she arrived and asked us "are they ready" to which we replied "don't take up any more time please" she doesn't say anything and leaves, after 15 minutes he returns and takes our order, he leftThe food and he only put it on our table and left, he did not return even once to check us, we asked the busser to check and he came to leave it and we had to stop to pay since no one checked us, when we left it was not even To say thank you he just grabbed the visas and threw them at us, he claims to be a manager and with those attitudes he won't get far, how sad that the owner's daughter herself has those attitudes.

Delicious food in extra large portions! Could use some new chairs, my husband had to warn a man who sat down in his chair and the leg nearly popped out.
