Two waitresses that must have been doing the cooking as well. We walked in at 7:00pm got our food at 8:30 food was burnt.
Who runs a barbecue place that runs out of brisket and chicken.
Staff was working hard, bad reflection on management.

There was nothing fall off the bone about these ribs! Passing through and thought this would be a good place to eat. I was very disappointed. The ribs were not moist and they look like they had been sitting awhile. They were not hot, they were warm at best. The service was good.

We have been coming to Rib City for years. Mostly the Grand Junction and Fruita restaurants. Today we went to the Montrose location. Service was awful, forever to take our order, messed up our meals, food was cold, okra was not completely cooked. No one checked on us. No drink refills. Super hot inside the building and the lights were turned off for a majority of our time there. We had to walk up to the register to even pay our check. We will never come back to the Montrose location. The owners need to re-evaluate this location and staff! I cannot express enough how awful this experience was!! Truly disappointed!!!!!!!!!

Can't tell you how disappointed we were. We went in the first week of August and there wasn't any air conditioning. They only had one waitress and a hostess for the entire restaurant. The waitress would disappear some times so she might have been cooking also. Took over a half hour to take our oder. Did I say it was HOT.

Under staffed, but they were working hard to take care of everyone. They did great with what they had. We'll be back!

While Rib City advertises their ribs as juicy and falling off the bone, our experience belies that claim. The half rack I received was overcooked and rather dry. I would not recommend Rib City in Montrose.

We went to Rib City in Montrose because we love this restaurant in Grand Junction and Fruita. Unfortunately, there is no comparison. The food in Montrose was okay, but not great like the ones in Grand Junction and Fruita. I ordered ribs and this location decides to put sweet BBQ sauce on them automatically. I like the hot sauce (not the sweet) and I’m use to being able to pick and use the sauce of my choice. I also order coleslaw but they came out with Mac n cheese instead. When I told the waitress I ordered coleslaw, she acknowledge it, “yes coleslaw,” but she never came out with coleslaw. They were not even busy. So disappointing!

The supposed owner turned on me because I asked for a refill, we paid the tab and left before he got extra verbally violent

I love rib city but this location has gone downhill. The atmosphere is great but the food is not good and they are short staffed.
