Love this place. Montrose is lucky to have the Root! Great staff, the best Açai bowls, and a clean dining area. I have tried bowls at big shops in GJ, Denver and Phoenix. None of them came close to the Root.

I’ve tried many acai/smoothie bowl places and none of them compare to the root. The service is always good, the building is always clean and cute, the prices are fair, and the bowls and smoothies are always refreshing and delicious. The fruit on top is always perfectly ripe and fresh. I’m obsessed.

Friendly staff, quick service for 4p.m. on a Tuesday. I had the Mountain bowl. It tasted very good and was filling at 12 oz. Price is comparable to other places, might even be a little less. If you do have the option of adding a protein scoop. I chose this versus cooking dinner for tonight.

Great spot for a healthy snack or meal. We were passing through town and I was craving a smoothie, really glad we found this place. The ambience inside is great (clean, bright, and hip music) and the prices are reasonable for what you are getting. Would definitely return!

One word: Excellent! I was so happy that I found this açaí berry bowl/juice bar! It’s chic inside and the staff were so helpful and friendly! You get what you pay for and they use excellent quality ingredients. I got the Bowl of Fortune and made my own for the other. Fresh, fruity, and fantastic! Couldn’t recommend more highly!

This was my favorite food stop while in Montrose. After traveling and camping for several days, drinking fresh squeezed juice and downing a Chia pudding bowl was exactly what I needed for rejuvenation. Everything was delicious and fresh. It was affordable and the staff were friendly and quick.
