Third time here and the food has been delicious each time! My parents are in town visiting and they gave this place 5/5 rating as well! Service was fast and the waitress answered all my mom’s questions (there were a lot of questions lol). The cheesecake for dessert was a perfect ending to the night.

Truly enjoyed this restaurant. It was walking distance from my hotel. They had very good service and recommendations. I had the lasagna and it was very good. Plus, the prices were very reasonable.

The pasta primavera was $12.99. I wanted to add shrimp. The shrimp was an additional $9!!! The hostess did not tell me how expensive it was. I took the shrimp off the check and it was $14.87. Service was ok. The atmosphere is nice and pretty fancy. My $13 salad tasted like an $8 salad. Wasn't horrible, wasn't the best. It's way too expensive for what you get.

Stopping in Montrose on a trip to visit national parks, I made a reservation here for our wedding anniversary. We had an early reservation (5:00 pm) so we were seated promptly and then service began. The staff appears to be primarily young women who could use some additional training. Sure, they deliver water. They take an order for a bottle of wine, They mechanically open the bottle of wine but are confused about how to offer it to the customer. While the customer is sipping to determine if the wine is to their liking, they look away rather than pay attention to the customer. They take the dinner order. They deliver the dinner order, They never check to see if the customer is happy with their meal. They remove the plates and almost reluctantly inquire if you are interested in a dessert. Finally, they deliver the check having made no acknowledgement of the special occasion and then they are gone! The food was very good. This restaurant rates well in this small community. It could hit a home run but it lacks professional service.

new(ish) Italian Restaurant Caroiur hosts in outlying rapidly developing part of Montrose. Ambience bright & sound level not bad, enabling conversation; comfortable (except for unpadded chairs). Servers good but need more experience coordinating with mutiple diners & the kitchen. Cloth napkins (good) no tablecloths, but that's okay. Wine glasses could be better but heavy Mason-jar truck-stop Margareta glasses seemed way out of character. Caesar salad good (nice dressing & had anchovies as requested); serving a little disorganized (our salad was much later than our companions; & main dishes were served before we were done & no room on table). I had lasagna (my go-to trial for an Italian restaurant because it should be made with in-house made pasta & Bolognese sauce--as it was here) —excellent and profited by generous extra Parmesan cheese that Sofia added at table & a bit of last minute red pepper flakes to enliven it. R had a flat iron steak & loved it. The ladies enjoyed their pasta dinners, but flavors were a bit limp--not that special. Tiramisu an excellent conclusion. Despite the girls’ disappointment, I had to thank the owner, Sofia.
Took over an hour for a Togo order. Waitresses could care less. Not coming back. Especially the prices they are charging

Overall not bad. Wasn’t the best Italian I’ve ever had and doesn’t seem super authentic. I got the pasta alla vodka, was kinda bland almost like it was missing some flavor. Service was great. Indoor and outdoor seating. Was pricey. Show up early, fills up fast!
