Jarrito Loco is one of the best jewels of Monument and easily some of the best Mexican you'll find! The dishes and flavors are so authentic. More positive things could not be said about the family who owns the restaurant and all of the wonderful staff. We particularly love their 'Tuesday Special' dishes but there isn't an item on the menu that disappoints.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly. The staff is accommodating and will provide high-chairs or even rearrange furniture not to mention they are super kind to kids in general.
Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible other than not having automated doors.
Ángel is a wonderful waiter. Went above and beyond. Amazing attitude, and a warm smile. I ordered the carne asada, and it was cooked perfectly, not dry. My wife ordered the chicken fajita, and the chicken was moist and delicious. 5/5 would recommend.

Last night my wife and I visited this restaurant directly following our having humanely ended our dear dog's life. We apologetically explained our tears and sadness. Our waiter and his wife (who may be part of ownership) responded by bringing us flan and comping our meal. This unnecessary and unexpected kindness was a reminder that human compassion and decency are alive and well through in-person human connection. I liked this restaurant before last night. Now it is a special place to us. Great food and great people!
