12/30/24 update. I am sorry to have to change my rating. We re-visited yesterday and it was not great. I tried the Philly Cheesesteak in the hopes this was to become our new "go to" Philly place in Monument and alas, it will not be. It came on a sesame seed hot dog bun, not a hoagie or Amoroso roll. The hot dog bun isn't big or robust enough to take the fillings. The meat was OK, but underseasoned. And the cheese used was some sort of pastuerized cheese substitute, not real provolone. As it cooled it turned to cheese glop - I don't know what else to call it. I think it would have functioned well as glue after about 10 minutes.
One of my guests had the Sheridan Chicken sandwich. I am not sure what "Sheridan Chicken" is, but he seemed to enjoy it well enough. Bacon, lettuce and tomato on toast.
My 2nd guest had the chicken fried steak, which was slathered with sausage gravy. The gravy wasn't bad, but like a lot this day, didn't have a ton of flavor. Everything needed more salt. And this time the fries were not great - not cooked enough with mealy interiors. And no salt.
So, it was a disappointing return. We will probably give them one more try for breakfast, which is served all day. Value was still good at $57 including tip and tax for 3, including sodas.
11/26/24 - This is really a 4.5 star rating overall and for the food. I had the Clubhouse with Turkey and it was pretty good. Fresh ingredients and hot bacon were the stars of the sandwich, and it wasn't ridiculously huge like I see at so many places. Still, plenty to eat for me. I ordered the onion rings as my side and they were pretty good also. Frozen, so the onions were not big or crispy enough, but that is usually the problem with frozen rings. At least these weren't watery inside. The batter was crunchy and tasty.
My guest had the Philly Cheesesteak, and gave it two thumbs up. I tried the beef and peppers mixture and it tasted legit. There was a huge mound of meat and the bun was not up to the task, instantly falling apart. So he made a mess with his hands, then finished the rest with a fork. It also came with one of the biggest mounds of french fries either of us have seen in awhile. I liked them as they were crispy on the outside, tender inside, but a little inconsistent. We have been looking for a good cheesesteak place in the Monument area, and we think we've found it.
Service was very friendly, attentive and lots of smiles and pleasant chatter. The servers seemed to genuinely be enjoying their jobs, which makes the whole experience a lot nicer. The atmosphere is pretty simple - plain and comfy booths and tables, and it was clean even for the end of the day.
Value - This is one of the best values we have seen in a long time. Price for two with two sodas, tax and tip was $36. Without tip, that's $30. A couple of meal deals at McDonald's is $25!
Most entrees are priced at $10.50 to $12, and portions are hearty - that's good value. With another VERY popluar diner just a block down the road, it's important to stand out in some way, and the combination of food, service and value makes this place a winner. We'll be back.

Reminded me of the small mom and pop places back home. Food came out quick and was delicious. Servers were very attentive and nice. Laid back chill vibe for breakfast was great. My 11 yr old son fully enjoyed every last drop of his food too. :) we split the Denver omelette and the cinnamon roll french toast meals.

Been hear several times with good experiences, but twice now we’ve shown up and they’re closed when they should be open. Won’t sustain this business if you don’t show….
Always a treat for us to go to MyHouse Cafe for any meal! Wait staff could not be friendlier or more attentive. Food has never disappointed. We also appreciate the relaxed atmosphere. Thank you!
They were so accommodating of my large group. The food was terrific, the coffee kept coming, and all were happy. Thank you.

A perfect small town cafe with all the standard offerings plus some fun twists on old favorites. I had the special of the day, tres leches French toast, and it was delicious. The servers were busy but still friendly and the owner checked on us a few times. I've been back for to-go lunches since and when I have out of town guests, we will be coming here for brunch.

Updated specials! Had the bacon, egg, pancake special, and the wife had Carlo’s special (again). This place is old school and feels like coming home. IMO some of the green chile in the springs.

Good food at a very fair price. This place was the first time I have had a good breakfast for less than $15 in, well, forever. As a bonus they are open at 7, whereas most of the other local breakfast places fine’s open until 8. I’ll be back, probably many times.
