I recently passed through the charming town of Naturita and stumbled upon Flying Bear Pizzaria. I decided to try the Harvest Salad and the Mauna Loa Pizza, both of which were recommended by Johnny. I’m so glad I took his advice! The salad was fresh and flavorful, and the pizza was simply outstanding. If you find yourself in Naturita, I highly recommend stopping by Flying Bear Pizzaria. You won’t be disappointed!

A tavern area for people who like taverning, a living room dining room for comfortable eating, outside dining as an option. Dog friendly. Good vegeterian and meat options.

The best pizza we’ve had in a very long time! They make their own dough and it is buttery and the perfect chewiness. Excellent crust. And, so important to me, not burnt!!! And even though they have amazing toppings, and make their own sauce, the crust is so good it doesn’t matter! Add to that a great bar and service and you got 5 stars all the way. Definitely stop here when in the area!

Flying Bear opened a pizza shop in the middle of nowhere that has become a destination from Telluride to Moab! What an awesome place to hang out in the "living room" and have a drink, eat good food and meet up with half the town on any given night. Food is fab. Service is spot on. Ask for Virginia. She will make you right.

Had their version of a Bloody Mary and it was horrible. I have no clue what was put on the rim of the glass. But it was foul. Pizza is mediocre at best. Save yourself and go to Norwood to Dark Sky or Saucy Mama's in Nucla. The atmosphere is like walking into a thrift store living room. Not welcoming at all. Just not for me.

Way over priced! Food was mediocre and waiter never came back after food was delivered?Being an old waitress...not cool! Atmosphere was in no way ideal. Don't waste your money. Go to Saucy Mama's in Nucla?

Great place to both get your bike fixed, get trail intel and be treated to fabulous pizza, salads, it’s all good! Build your own sourdough crust pizza or try their unique combinations. Casual, inviting and committed in this community. Go there soon! Tell Sophie and Nick, Hello! We not only will stop here again, we’d make the 2 hr drive from home for this pizza and good company!
