I've tried the buffet at Kathmandu twice, and it's great that there are 4-5 "no dairy" (which I assume means "vegan") entrees, clearly marked. There are also a variety of gluten-free options. It's a decent stop after working up an appetite with a hike, and especially for a small town like Nederland, it's not bad.
That said, it's far from the best Nepalese/Indian food I've had. The buffet dishes are generally fairly bland and noticeably...
I was extremely impressed. After a long day of hiking in the rocky mountain national park, we needed something filling and warm. Not only did this place check those boxes but, it was very good.
The service was nice and everyone enjoyed their food. Best part was the price. I’ve had plenty of Indian food but, I have noticed the cost skyrocketing. This place is affordable and just as good.

I love this place and eat it weekly--If I don't, I crave it. Absolute soul food that nothing can replicate. The spices and flavors are incredible. My favorites are the saag and jal fregi--but haven't been disappointed by anything.
