This is the only place on our trip that we stopped twice. Once for breakfast and once for dinner. The second stop we actually detoured from our planned route to hit it up again. Do not miss out on the sausage gravy, best I’ve ever had.

Love coming here on saturdays. The owners are friendly locals. They always make our favorite dish to order. Appreciate you all!

Not sure if we just picked a bad day but no one was there, which was nice. However, the host sat two booths behind us blaring a video on his phone. The donuts were supposed to come with fresh berries. Instead, we got maybe 1tbsp of preserves for both donuts. The hollandaise sauce on the Benedict was very sour, almost tasted spoiled. I was afraid to eat it. The “sauce” on the burrito was liquid, not sure exactly what it was but it wasn’t great. Overall, super disappointing for the price and based on other reviews.

Expensive, not tasty, the staff is extremely rude and force you to leave.
Tips options are like 15-20-25-30, crazy!

Called in a to-go order here and was rushed off the phone and told to “order, order!” as I was attempting to clarify my order. I assume they were busy and mostly brushed it off. When I showed up to the restaurant there wasn’t a single customer there. Turns out they were just rude rather than busy. After eating our food I could see exactly why no one was there. Chicken and waffles were ok, but the waffle was continental breakfast quality and so were the pancakes my wife got. The coffee was also terrible. I poured it out and replaced it with what our hotel had available, which was a dramatic improvement.

Could not rate the food since the weird waiter did not turn in our order or they just wanted us out of there! waited over an hour, he never came back!

Out in the middle of nowhere and can be a bit hard to find, but the scenery on the drive from Denver alone is worth it. Hard to accurately judge the service as the place was not busy. The joint is family-owned and that has advantages and drawbacks. The menu is simple and straightforward, prices are a little on the high side, and the portions are the right size.
