Bad Daddy's Burger Bar

It was a really good place to eat. I had the salad, my husband got the steroid burger Both were excellent!

Last Thursday I walked in with a friend to place a to go order. I ordered a build your own salad but had accidentally circled both the giant and small. But ended up writing in GIANT and even told the bartender I wanted it as a giant. As he was beginning to type in the order I asked if he could put it on separate tabs. He seemed annoyed and then stated ya, but now he has to do what he was doing all over and different. (OK) After he was done entering in my manual salad order, I asked if I could also get some tots, in which he stated he already had entered the order and needed to do it again. I apologized for the inconvenience, but again, he had never even asked if I had maybe wanted something else with my order, including possibly a soda while I was waiting. So, I just paid the 2nd bill. When the order came out everyone from the kitchen seemed to be staring in our direction as we were handed our food which I thought was odd. I even said something to my friend and they agreed like why are they staring at us like that. Well, I am wondering if it's because the bartender who rang in the order did it completely wrong the second time. I received grilled chicken instead of crispy (which was really spicy for some reason). No cucumbers, blue cheese crumbles instead of shredded cheddar ( asked for blue cheese dressing). Highly disappointed when spending $20 for a build your own salad that didn't come near as close to what I asked for. I even gave a $5 cash tip on a to go order which my friend questioned me about. It's moments like these that I understand why people don't tip on to go orders. I will be more diligent going forward on all orders to check before I leave. UGH! Guess you don't order salad from a burger joint. Lesson learned.

Food is always pretty good. Wings are good as well as their hamburgers.

The good: waiter was on point and the burger had great flavor. The bad: onion rings cost almost 5 dollars for 4 1/2 rings, and they were slightly overdone so they stuck together. Would have been a great experience if I hadn't been gouged on the rings.

Above average burgers. Well seasoned. Apps ok. Sides weren’t included. Had the TVs quite loud. Service good.

I made an online order that was completely botched. My burger pattie was bland, the bun was dry so when I bit into the burger it crumbled apart, I asked for mustard and ketchup on the burger and got 4 ketchup packets on the side, asked for jalapeños and got no jalapeños, asked for no onions and got onions, asked for bacon and got charred pieces of bacon, emphasis on the charred, and also ONE piece of bacon that was undercooked (not sure if that was to compensate for the burnt pieces😅). I ended up just throwing it away.
For $20 burgers, no combo just burger, I expected something much much better. Unfortunately, that was not the case. My girlfriend's burger was no better.
I ended up throwing away my burger. It was just inedible. The green chili tater tots were way too cold and barely a spec of the green chili.
I came to two conclusions: 1) the cooks just do what they want and prepare your burgers however they feel like or 2) they are lazy and don't care about the order. Either conclusion is a sad one.
Definitely a waste of money. I'm sorry Bad Daddy Burger, but I wouldn't go back if someone was buying for me. Hopefully other people have a better experience.

Nice large two story bar with rooftop seating with Mountain View’s. We sat at the bar and enjoyed some delicious sandwiches, great service and tall beers at happy hour prices.
Will definitely return and recommend.

i ordered the sam i am burger! and it was good for the most part! i liked the applewood bacon, the pesto, and the over easy egg. the downside of my burger was how salty it was, i’m not sure if it was like the juice of the burger or what. but some juicy parts were really really salty. i didn’t enjoy my fries either, it kinda tasted like they had been sitting out for awhile. they were chewy but not in the way it should’ve been. didn’t care for the bad daddies signature sauce either. kinda tasted like a tangy chipotle bbq peppered sauce? it was okay but not that great of a sauce. the old fries disappointed me.

on the other hand, we got great service from our waitress. she was really nice and was on point!

the atmosphere was cool too! lots of stuff on the walls to look at, they had records, posters, and signs along the walls of artists and musicians, and comics! i didn’t get to check out the outdoor roof area but it looked neat from in front of the restaurant.

overall, i’m sure the food is great but maybe i showed up on an off day. the rest of my group said there food was good but one of them also said there burger was salty. i’d be down to visit this place again next time im in colorado.
