The Pea' s chicken fried steak is wonderful. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with a generous serving of gravy. The wait staff is attentive and personable. The furnishings are a little worn looking, but to be expected because the restaurant's been there a while and it is certainly a favorite in the neighborhood. A satisfying "home cooked meal"!

Parking: 3 main restaurants so full parking lot during prime times lots of parking but long walk!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp for wheel chair access was down 6 parking spaces from door so had to walk behind cars to ramp then walk up hill to doorway. (With a walker)
The worst meal I've ever had at Black Eyed Peas. I chose the marinated pork chop meal and my pork chop was not marinated and dry as hell my potatoes were good but the gravy that was covering it was bland as hell so they replaced my dried pork chop with an overcooked chicken fried chicken with with more bland gravy on top. Usually you never lose that Black Eyed Peas but today was a real loser.

Ribeye steak is a tender cut of meat I ordered it and it was the toughest piece of meat this place is good for comfort food not

We got some cheese burgers and both were completely raw,I don't know what happened because we have ordered several times and everything was good this time garbage .

The food was good, clam chowder was enjoyable but sadly not piping hot. The rolls were enjoyable and the peppermint tea was good but no honey or lemon was offered. It may have been available.The spinach salad was good but the "feta" cheese was powdered unless they substitute powdered Parmesan cheese but either way, tell me why you would make a fresh spinach salad with powdered cheese! Omit it

I like this restaurant because it is super quiet. You don't have to wait to be assigned a table. They have music that I like, the service is friendly and the Bluemoon beer is the best! I like salmon with aromatic herbs. The whole family loves it!
