We have ordered cupcakes and cakes from cakes by Karen a few times and the cakes are always the best! so delicious, soft and fluffy, not overly sweet, the frosting is light and fluffy, and the custom decorations we’ve asked for have been perfect!

Karen and her crew always make the best cakes, cupcakes, cookies!!!! everything. good prices and delish desserts. also has made a couple fancy cakes for me and the family. we'll worth it

I ordered a cake for my wife’s 40th birthday. They were patient with me when trying to design the cake. They were able to create the cake and it was perfect! One of the best cakes I’ve had in years! I’ll be coming back for the next occasion here.

I love this bakery! My family was throwing a baby shower for my sister a couple weeks ago. Not only did they do amazing on the cake and kept it on theme, they hand delivered some cupcakes we forgot to pick up from them the night before the baby shower! This place is amazing and I will definitely be going to them for all my future pastry needs!

I would never have ordered a thing from here knowing what they do in the bakery to save money it's a wonder how they stayed in business for so long what a shame! They fooled a lot of people there operation is so not what they say it is I would rather a homeless person make my cake at least I know they will be honest and the prices my lord and this lady actually still lives off of her mother who is passed away talk about pathetic very very greedie and not happy till they get what they want for sure should not be in business anywhere perfect example of crooks getting away with it very sad.

They do absolutely beautiful work! We get a cake from them every year for my daughter’s birthday. The cakes are beautiful and delicious!

This place sucks they take your money don't give what you ask for at all !! I would NOT recommend go to cake occasion their the best

Cakes by Karen's make some of the best cake and icing around! We've been coming here for more than 20 years and have never been disappointed. You can even stop by or just to stop by and pick up a beautiful cupcake or a cookie! We actually bought a couple pounds of icing today. So that we can go home and decorate our own sugar cookies.

Horrible experience to say the least. Worst part is they didn’t accept the mistake and behaved as if nothing happened and just handed the cake silently and left. Customer care, Customer satisfaction… don’t know if they even know these concepts.

The first version was even worst; then when we showed them the picture, they just made some changes and then simply handed over the cake to us and left. Not a single word that “how is the cake”, “whether we like it or not” etc, per my experience at other bakeries. STAY AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY.
At this point I am praying that it will taste good tomorrow and contemplating whether we should carry a backup cake. My ~$200 went in drain.

Inspo picture I sent & what I got for $50+. This is my 3rd & last time ordering from them. I wanted an ALL black round 6in cake not brown and black. Cake is usually very very good though just not what I wanted to give to my mom since her favorite color is black. ? Update: I just took it out of the box & I also found a hair in the frosting ?
