I never imagined I would be writing a one-out-of-five-star review for Cracker Barrel, but this location left no alternative.
One member of our group has already expressed concerns about this restaurant. After this visit, I felt compelled to add another firsthand account.
What began as a party of seven quietly turned into eight, not because of seating needs, but because our server repeatedly disappeared to spend time with her boyfriend instead of tending to our table. Her attention was clearly divided, and our group felt more like an inconvenience than paying guests. When asked about the 2-for-$19.99 menu, she confidently insisted it did not exist and said she would “go look for one.” Seven minutes passed with no return. Eventually, a member of our group walked to the host stand and was handed the menu immediately, no searching required.
The atmosphere offered no relief. After a long day on the ski slopes, we were tired, hungry, and looking forward to a warm, relaxing meal. We intentionally made a 30-minute drive from our hotel expecting comforting food and reliable service. Instead, we encountered inattentive staff, unpleasant odors, and meals that arrived incorrect and poorly prepared.
While the manager did comp some of the meal, which was appreciated, it came only after the experience had already unraveled. With most of the food wrong, paying only for the single correctly prepared dish felt more like damage control than satisfaction.
Overall, this visit was disappointing from start to finish. I am not leaving this review in hopes of improvement, but as a caution to others: arrive with lowered expectations, because the service and experience here may fall far short of what you anticipate.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The bathroom smelled like a literal sewer, which really set the tone for the rest of the visit. To make it better, all but one stall in the women’s bathroom were vacant and locked, so there was a line for absolutely no reason.
The bacon showed up cold, because apparently keeping food warm is optional now. The biscuits looked like they had been used in a snowball fight. Some were smashed beyond recognition, and others were so burnt and hard they could have passed as literal croutons.
And then there was Jessica, our first waitress. I say first because thankfully she disappeared. She was openly rude and hateful and acted like our presence was a personal inconvenience. Orders were mixed up, fried chicken instead of grilled which is kind of a big difference, eggs were runny, and any attempt to address issues was met with attitude instead of basic customer service.
Cracker Barrel is supposed to be comfort food, not a test of patience and low expectations. Between the sewer smelling bathroom, the cold food, the rock hard biscuits, and Jessica’s stellar example of how not to treat customers, this visit was a complete mess.
Save yourself the trouble and eat literally anywhere else.

Was glad it wasn't rerenovated. Old school charm. Just did like how we were seated. Right in middle of 2 tables eating and let's put them in middle.

The food wasn't good, the waitress didn't keep us updated. I'm sorry two cooks didn't show but your customers still need to be kept informed

We ordered the Prime Rib meal deal, and it was great! Instructions are clear of how to prepare, and it was very reasonably priced and was a big hit with our guests.

Had a great dinner with our family. We ate here in August and again today and had Carlos Cruz as our server both times. He is a great service with excellent customer service. Thank you for making out experience pleasant as usual.

Cracker Barrel advertises chicken noodle soup on their menu, but when we arrived to order it, we were told they decided not to make it. No explanation, no apology — just “we didn’t make it today.”
What made the experience worse was the manager’s flippant and dismissive attitude when we asked about it. Instead of acknowledging the inconvenience or offering an alternative, the response came across as indifferent, as if it was unreasonable to expect an item that’s still listed on the menu to actually be available.
If menu items are routinely not offered, that should be communicated clearly — and basic customer service should include professionalism and courtesy. Unfortunately, this experience fell short on both.

The food was very delicious and served timely! My server Adriana was very attentive and gave us many good recommendations. Once the food came out, it was nice and warm to eat. My egg was cooked just right too! Adriana was very sweet to me and my family. They don’t have many servers like that in this world anymore. Next time we come in, I hope she’s working and I will ask for her specifically! Please thank her for me and my family 💕

Absolutely terrible. Server was Adriana S
My dad never got his burger until we left in a box. I got the kids breakfast meat biscuit. Looked great on the menu but no, it was fallen apart not nearly like the menu said. My sister got a potato as a side, she got mashed potatoes no ambience at all we got the manager and he got us the food the server never got. The burger was overcooked WAS SUPPOST TO BE MEDIUM AND CAME BURNT the manager decided to laugh it off and act so casual.

This was the worst experience ever. I never ever wrote reviews either but I am a sever, so was my step mom and this was horrible. The server named Adrianna took 10 minutes to greet us and get drinks and then 20 minutes to put food orders in. The food was tasted good when it came out. My dad's burger didn't come out with the rest of the tables food we finished eating all our food and his food still hadn't come out it was just a medium burger she came back and forgot to order it... my step mom got the broccoli casserole dish and they said it was working in the back and would be out soon when the server came over again we asked and she said oh we're out even though she just told us they were making it. We asked to speak to the manager and he just laughed about the situation and eventually brought out the casserole. So many other things were wrong but no point to even brings those other things up.. just a horrible experience do not recommend getting dinner here.

Ana was our server and she did great jobJust wanted to give a shoutout to Ana, our server today! She was absolutely fantastic and made our experience so enjoyable. Seriously, she handled everything with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed. It's rare to find such attentive and friendly service these days, and she really went above and beyond. Thanks for the amazing meal and even better service, Ana!
