Walking in the place is gross. The lady was sitting down on her phone touching her face and didnt even bother to wash her hands. My friend got lunch while I said I wasn't hungry. I lost my appetite immediately after watching how gross this lady is. She continued to scratch her head and serve customers. The icing on the cake is the use of fly swatters. A fly landed on top of the hit serving table. She slapped the fly and killed it. Who knows where the body went, maybe some extra flavor in the chicken. Absolutely disgusting the way they do not care about personal hygiene. Will be reporting to health department.

Ive been going to this place since before they renovatedz back when I was around 13 years old. Now as a ripe 27 year old I still frequent this place any chance I can. The food is AMAZING, there is a TON of options, ppatr combos, or just by the scoop. And when they say 1 scoop they ALWAYS over serve you with 1.5-2 scoops for your price of one. They LOAD the food up for CHEAP. Its family owned and you can tell there is a lot of love put into this place from generation to generation. Now as a mother of a 9 year old I'm so happy that she gets just as excited at me to go to Golden scoop, like when I was a kid. Their food truly transcends generations.

It’s okay Chinese food. Location needs s refresh. Service was okay. Did have a bit of an odd tasting bite on one piece of food (a little chemically tasting like maybe they still had detergent residue in the pan or utensil). Portions are huge so that’s a plus.

My husband and I really enjoyed visiting this place, I can honestly say we used to come here weekly.
The guy who serves the food, I'm not entirely sure if he's the owner, but when we were placing our order, he gave us attitude for no apparent reason. My son wanted rice and lo mein, and he served the lo mein first. When I reminded him that my son wanted rice as well, he sucked his teeth and dumped everything out in a very rude manner. I asked him if everything was alright, and he completely ignored me. It's disappointing because we genuinely liked this place, but we won't be returning anymore.

The food here is great the real problem is the workers. Came in about two weeks ago for the made to order rice with chicken and pork; no problems, the girls working the front were polite, no issues. Came back today for the same thing and the guy upfront had an attitude, went straight to the back before we could even finish what we were saying and brought out a closed container. Once finished telling him what we were originally trying to say his attitude got worse and he stated they don't do that. Once we said we were here about two weeks ago for this same order he switched up and said that they can't do the two together. Never been to a places that switches up what they can and can't do so quickly.

Placed an order on Grubhub for pickup and when u tried to get the order then the owner was very rude. He said that he wasn’t sure if someone had already picked up or not with a lot of attitude. The food was also subpar with smaller portions than a lot of places in the area. He almost refuses to give me my order that u already paid for on Grubhub. Prices have also gone up to $3 a scoop so they have false advertising as well. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone with the subpar food and terrible customer service.
