Wheels On Fire Pizza Truck

$16 for mediocre thin crust pizza that takes an hour to be ready. Food truck food should be relatively quick, or warn us that it’ll take that long. Even more frustrating is that the pizza didn’t come out hot, it was warm but definitely not fresh out of the oven. Homemade ranch was delicious but ultimately a poor experience

Couldn't say enough positive things about Wheels on Fire! They agreed to come to an event at my daughter's school where parents, teachers and students loved their pies. Their team was lovely to communicate with leading up to the event, they shared a clear menu and even made up a flyer advertising the event we were hosting. Hopefully we'll be able to find another reason to have them at our school again!

I CANNOT OVERSTATE HOW INCREDIBLE THIS PIZZA WAS.

The sourdough dough base is incredible, I ate the crust first and was blown away by the airy-ness and texture. Wow. Wow. Wow.

Let me also say this: if you complain about the pizza being thin or crust being burnt… order dominos.
This is Neapolitan style pizza, it tastes like it was made in Italy. It’s the Porsche of Denver pizza spots.

I will be back, this is a new fave. I will be a groupie for this food truck.

$60 for 3 pizzas and mouthwash cup of ranch…wtf. Minimal toppings, dismissive and lackadaisical staff. Pass

Usually we LOVE the good trucks at New Terrain, but Wheels on Fire was a huge disappointment. We waited for at least 45 minutes and still did not get food. They didn’t tell us beforehand an estimated wait time so we didn’t know it would take that long. We eventually had to request a refund, which I saw 3 other people also do. I also witnessed the dough thrower drop the pizza dough on the ground 4 times in the 10ish minutes I was standing around the food truck. When I told the workers that things like dropping the dough on the ground in front of customers and having lengthy personal conversations while there is a line of 20+ wait to order/waiting for their food was opportunities to improve busy days, they got super confrontational and said they were “glad they gave me a refund and they didn’t serve me.” As far as a pizza food truck goes in Denver, they have a lot of room for improvement in their service. I would avoid this food truck and choose anything else.

Loved this pie! They’re affordable, delicious, and the thinner crust is the perfect combination of chewy and crunchy. I ordered the Pikes Peak and I wouldn’t hesitate to order it again and again. The Margherita pizza was also a great option. The staff was friendly and considerate. If you ever see them, give them a shot! They were conveniently at New Terrain Brewery when I stumbled upon them.

We had Wheels On Fire at the Sunshine Farm's festival evening and really enjoyed it. We ordered a white pizza, Hawaiian, and cupping pepperoni along with 2 cheese pizzas and they were all delicious. The wait time was fine especially for 5 pizzas and our whole group was happy. We would definitely eat it again!

Had a good char, pep was good, but sauce and bread didn’t have a ton of flavor. Took a long time to get a small pizza. Went well w/ my beer.

I love all the specialty pizzas on this truck! The crust is always so delicious, crispy and truly wood fire style. It’s the same crew on the truck and they are all young passionate people that are friendly and go out of their way to be helpful and fun! Both the red and white sauce bases are super flavorful and you can tell hand made. Thank you for bringing this sexy pizza to town!!

Bad pizza, bad customer service

These guys are the best!!!! They are always early and the food is always served hat and fresh. They treat you right! Aside from our own food truck #wheelsonfirepizzatruck if I’m not eating our pizza I’m going to eat blackjack’s!

We loved this pizza so so much I am actually tracking them to get more. They are friendly busy and their attitude was amazing. We just had them on 12/2 at parade of light...I am giving them ?
