Our party of four enjoyed the shoestring fries, and the other three members liked the flank steak 'Yakitori' they ordered.
I ordered the $21 Curry, and was unpleasantly surprised when I was presented with a plate containing a sparse double-handful of braised veggies atop a small puddle of curry paste; absent the rice which the menu claims it comes with.
For the first time in my life, I sent the dish back; explaining to the server that it simply was not a curry by any reasonable definition.
But the real shock came with the check, when I discovered that I had been charged for the "Curry" that I had sent back; albeit with a 10% ($2.10) discount!
I reminded the server that I had sent that dish back to the kitchen untouched, and inquired as to why I was being charged for it. The owner came out and explained to me that that was her version of a curry.
I responded politely that I had been eating and making curries for over 50 years, and that whatever that dish had been, it simply wasn't what anyone else in the world would call a curry; and that whatever it was, I had sent it back to the kitchen untouched. She eventually relented and agreed to remove it from our check.
The 'He Tangy' cocktail I ordered was also a disappointment: not bad, but far from the "flavor blast" the menu claims it to be.
Bottom line: hit-and-miss: some tasty dishes, along with some culinary disasters; all (IMO) overpriced for what you get. I'll be extremely surprised if Good Love succeeds as a restaurant.

What a vibe! New age cocktail menu, great food, and upbeat & funky music. Seems like the staff is loving what they are doing and provide a welcoming and chill vibe. We got a few plates to share and loved them all, especially the soup and the chicken . They also had great vegan options that were super tasty.

My partner, Ben, and I stumbled upon this gem in Paonia on Saturday night. Such a quaint and beautiful spot. The craft drink that I ordered was delicious. I would prefer more of a variety of craft/draft beer options but I also appreciate their loyalty to the local brewery. We split the steak kabobs along with the edamame appetizer. Both were amazing.... splitting was the right option for us due to price (food is worth the price) and our level of hunger. Would definitely be back!

Good Love in Paonia is a must visit restaurant. The dinner service was proper - prompt and attentive. The menu sports many options for meat, veggetarian, and even vegan. House made cocktails all are on point, and the cozy atmosphere really represents this region, filled with good people, visionary art, and vibes of love. Lavender cheesecake for desert was a nice touch as well. Paonia needed some Good Love!

First of all the food was amazing. A delight for the senses!! Everything was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was very noisy and the clientel was quite drunk. The atmosphere took away from the dining experience. The servers were more worried about the people at the bar(their friends) then the people like ourselves that were there to enjoy the food.
