Update been coming here for 4 years still have some of the most amazing tacos in the world!! Not as many hot sauces anymore though. Absolutely incredible flavors. Shell perfectly crispy. I must have had 15 to 20 homemade hot sauces. I have to say this might even be the best taco I've ever had in my life, and I have a taco snob. This place would be packed out the door in Denver. Soo good! Please come to Denver or let me open a franchise. Amazing.

My spouse and I were in Paonia for a long weekend and stopped at Nido for lunch. It was AMAZING! We got the goat cheese empanaditos and each got 2 delicious tacos. I got the Oaxaca Chicken and Chimichurri tacos. My spouse got the Bubblegum Plum Carnitas and Papa’s del Fuego tacos and all 4 were sooooo good!
These are the best tacos! Nothing like a typical taco! The flavors are fantastic, ingredients fresh and local, and a stark variation to the southwestern taco. You must give them a try!

Was just passing through for a one night stay here in Paonia and landed at nido based on its reviews. Food was excellent. Service was awkward, but good. The seating arrangements were odd, but I think they had rearranged for a large group with multiple children that was there, so maybe that had something to do with it. It was a very loud group too. But, the food truly was very good with great flavor. Left full and satisfied.

Ok food although the deep fryer seems to get heavy usage. Off-putting service concept with 20% suggested tip for a self serve operation plus single use cutlery and plates. And then there are the card fees.
