What a gem of a place this is! Amazing flavors, unique combinations(the carnitas and grit cakes were fantastic), locally sourced and a vibrant atmosphere. I will definitely come back!
Parking: We went on a Thursday evening and lots of spaces downtown, but it gets crowded in the daytime.

Nido's food, service, and atmosphere are phenomenal. The cuisine beautifully blends traditional authenticity with avant-garde dishes that push the boundaries of delight. I love how clean and modern the interior feels, with art that inspires. And the service is both warm, friendly and top of their game. If you're in Paonia, I can't recommend Nido enough for a gem that will create memories.

We live in Grand Junction and stopped here on a weekend jaunt to Paonia. This might be the best dining experience in the entire western slope. Our group of four had a diverse order of appetizers, tacos, drinks and desserts, and not a single weak link was to be found - everything is creative and well-crafted. A band played during our entire visit and made some of us cry during a few song requests, and the owner overheard that it was my mother-in-law’s birthday and added a candle to a slice of pie we ordered.
Come. Come here soon and come here repeatedly. This place is EXCELLENT.
