One of the worst Mexican dinners I have ever had. We sat outside in a very dirty patio, the planter had cat excrement in it!!
The cooks were smoking, and that stench waifted to our table.
The food was very basic, I ordered veggie enchiladas….the description said mixed vegetables, I asked what kind of vegetables, the server said green and red peppers….instead they put in mixed vegetables from a frozen bag: peas, carrots, corn!! Really? My companion ordered chicken tacos, the chicken was dried out.The food had no flavor at all….and the owners are from Mexico??
Extremely disappointing! Now I am worried about Hepatitis C….the health department should investigate.

Went there for lunch in paonia. They had a good lunch special and the food was good. There was only one server which slowed down the process but still more than acceptable in a small mountain town.

OMG! So good! They brought out these delicious, authentic chips and salsa! (No pace picante here!) The service was good, but the food! Oh the food! This was a tremendous authentic Mexican restaurant! I hope to keep coming back to try more of the menu items. This trip, was a house marg on la rocas con sal y tacos Al pastor. Mmmmm! Me gustó mucho!

Went for a ride and came across Rio Bravo, Mexican restaurant was excellent. Shenandoah was very polite, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Telling us things that are in the area. We found the restaurant to be very clean. The food was excellent. My husband ordered a taco salad and I got a shrimp salad. Both were very good. We're ready

The food was good. I would give it a better review but their salsa that they brought out with the chips was the worst I’ve ever had. Basically seasoned tomato juice with maybe a 5% (by volume) inclusion of vegetables. The main courses we had were both good but very small portions compared to the last few Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. The prices were not small. Service and atmosphere were very nice. I would eat here again but maybe bring my own salsa lmao!

The queso was good and so was the rice. My chicken fajitas were bland and I didn't receive tortillas. I order take out and paid cash but there was an issue. The person didn't have access to the cash register to make change so he had to get cash from the other waitress. I had high hopes after reading the reviews but was disappointed.

Employees were lame from the greeter to the waitress didn't even get water had to ask for it then the waitresses were sitting down instead of helping the customers with drinks and didn't even come back to see if we needed refills or anything poor customer service for sure and the food tasted like old oil on the chips and tortilla in chicken taco salad and the burrito was bland not happy with our experience and won't be back
