Amazing fresh food! Had the Ali bowl - tender fluffy rice with delicious miso glazed carrots, sesame ginger dressing with fresh greens and avocado. Lots of GF and veggie options in addition to hearty meats and breakfast sandwiches. Definitely won my repeat business!

OH-MY-WOW! We were headed to Denver and drove past Paonia when we decided to pull over and take a break. And boy are we glad we did! This place has the cutest little patio and backyard seating area along with a small but delicious menu loaded with plenty of vegan/vegetarian options. Don’t miss the falafel waffles or the avocado toast. My husband had The Adi and regretted not packing one for dinner that night. Food was fresh, customer service and fellow patrons were polite and friendly. We are going to make a special stop in Paonia in the future just to enjoy the ambiance and food here.

I’ve only been in Paonia for a couple of days and have come twice because it is so amazing! Warm kale salad (photo) was off the hook and eggs Benedict was also supremely deciduous. Super impressed, don’t miss out.

The people who work here are rude and aloof. They allow regular customers to cut in line without consideration of people who have been waiting patiently. I don't recommend this establishment and will never support it.

I’ve been here twice. The first time, we waited over an hour and a half for our food. The second time was similar. Standing in line to order, several people came up to ask if their orders had gotten lost. This is such a bummer because the place is cute, and the food is pretty good.

Wow, what a pleasant surprise! They were a madhouse when I arrived. They had run out of many food items, so we were limited in selection. Wait, staff was overwhelmed, leading to poor service, but the food and coffee made up for it. This is the type of place where you order at the counter, and they bring food out to your table. Self seating environment...more of a coffee shop vibe.

Adorable and unassuming place. The outdoor area was amazing, very calming and clear that many folks also love this place. Nearly missed their larger menu (papers at the cashier) but still opted for the delicious pecan sticky roll

Enjoyed this restaurant on a Saturday around noon. Wasn't overly crowded which I appreciated since I had the dog with me. I enjoyed sitting on the backyard patio. The tables were nicely spaced out so I was not anxious about my dog disturbing other patrons. Food was great. The cooks even came out to love on my pup and gave him a piece of bacon. Would be come back for sure.

Stopped here for breakfast on a Sunday and food and coffee were amazing! Cute little yard and deck with outdoor seating and picnic tables. Service was a little bit slow but it was very busy as expected on a Sunday morning. We ordered the breakfast sandwich and eggs Benedict which both came on the best English muffins we’ve ever had - so fluffy and soft with a crisp outside. We also got an order of French toast which was a sort of croissant bread and topped w strawberries. Everything was warm and great!

We stumbled upon Sweetgrass as we were traveling through Paonia, and were pleasantly surprised by the top-notch food, friendly service, and beautiful, shaded patio. Everything we ordered (and saw) was amazing and I'd highly recommend if you are traveling through!
