We popped in the morning after a gig at Big B’s - extremely busy, only one server on.
Whilst it would’ve been better if they’d had more staff on and planned for it, she did seriously well with the amount of people pouring in. Food was what you pay for, diner esq, nothing fancy but fine. Few bad reviews here are probably expecting miracles but after all it’s a diner, and it was fine considering that. Cheers

Stopped by this diner on our way back from Ouray as it was open on Sunday. The seating is not reserved and you could sit anywhere you wish to. We ordered the eagle burrito and the chicken and waffles. Our order was served quickly and the coffee provided was also freshly brewed. The parking is also free on the main street and woul definitely recommend stopping by this place.

We were driving through Paonia and decided to stop here for a late breakfast. Everyone in my party is vegetarian and was easily able to find something that we wanted. The music playing was awesome and made the overall atmosphere so nice. We were told they only had one avocado left and asked if it was okay to split it between our two dishes that had avocado. That was totally fine by us and then we got our meals which were all so delicious! As we were eating, the cook brought out another sliced avocado and told us that he had run to the store to get it! How incredible. We were so happy with our experience at The Diner and would definitely eat here again.
Food was very good. Nice place. Had an old juke box. Loved the waitress, great service. Not disappointed. Would eat there again!

Cozy little main street diner with a cook, a waitress, and the biggest chicken fried portion I've seen in a while. Plates were fire, service was great. Ask for your order both ways with gravy and pork green chili.
