Nice, nice, nice! The best carnitas I have found in the Denver area. Just a good atmosphere and excellent service! A fun Sunday morning!

An amazing find off E470 and Jordon! Tucked on the end of a mini mall we found El Huerto. It was an early lunch - late breakfast Sunday time of day. The carnitas tasted like it has been simmering for hours, earthy and cut with a fork tender. I was in a breakfast mood and got an omelet with home fries and bacon. Better than most diner food in Colorado! When there are great cooks in the kitchen, everything comes out wonderful! Give them a try. You will love it. Great prices too!

Great local owned business with high quality. Fish tacos- Fresh, cooked to perfection and a larger serving than expected. Sopapilla- delicious and huge. Love the side of honey to add at your leisure. Margarita- happy hour is BOGO, but I asked for a heavy pour on one instead. That was a gooooood choice. Chips and salsa are delicious and then they elevate by bringing a thing of beans too !!! Nice touch.
Overall, a superb on way home from work dinner. Highly recommend checking out. Max (owner?) was super friendly and attentive. Will come back for sure!!!

I add cheese to my huevos when I get home so picture shows that. We have only had breakfast here so I can’t rate everything but breakfast burritos are amazing & I really love the green chili & hash browns. It’s literally in our neighborhood so we love it. Service is great & friendly.

Best Mexican food we’ve ever had!
El Huerto is a hidden gem in Parker. The service is friendly, portions are huge, and everything is packed with flavor. We loved the Carnitas Plate and Steak Mexicano — both were amazing! Don’t skip the sopapilla. We’ll definitely be back!

The staff was great. The pricing was reasonable. The food was pretty good. I've had much better salsa. The tacos were good, tons of cheese and tomato and lettuce, a lot of beans and rice, but nothing to write home about. Really, they need some kickass salsa to bring the place up a notch.
I did enjoy the atmosphere because it wasn't very busy and my friend and I could actually have a good conversation.
I'll definitely be going back and trying something with green chili. I'll update after that.
UPDATE: I went back for my second try and it was great! The salsa was delicious, and my smothered burrito was really great! They have some really tasty green chile that's not the typical stuff like a lot of other places. You can tell it's made in-house. Great stuff! I'm upgrading my review to 4 stars across the board!

This place is amazing.
The best sopapillas I've ever had. I don't think you will find better.
Bean and Cheese burrito is on par if not better than Hacienda. Our new go to burrito place for sure!

It was my first time dining here. The wait staff was great! The food was great! I love to try the smaller, famlly owned venues. I don't eat out often, as prices are inflated right now. The homemade chips and salsa, were accompanied by, a small dish of refried beans and cheese. Thought that was a tasty addition. The margarita was really yummy too. I had the steak fajitas. Very yummy! I didn't get to sample the green chili, but I probably will, on my next visit. The sopapillas are possibly the best that I've ever had. I will definitely return to this yummy, warm dining experience, the next time that I am in the area!

Because of the glowing reviews on Nextdoor and the restaurant’s website and because we missed the great Mexican meals we had for over 60 years in Southern California, we thought we would try El Huerta. We were both less than impressed. There was almost no spicy heat in any of the sauces, the taco salad that I ordered, having heard that it was huge, was half the size of the good taco salads in the Pomona-Claremont-Glendora area, where we lived before moving to Parker. My husband‘s three item dinner filled the large plate with the hardshell taco on a side plate but there were no hot sauce bottles on the tables. I imagine we could’ve asked for one, but we didn’t. The beans were an almost liquid mess with no beans visible. They are all quite liquified. The chips that came at the beginning were singularly unimpressive. The basket was small and only about half full, the chips were thick and hard and almost totally lacking in salt. The bean dip that was brought out a little later that was for the chips was basically like the Rosarita can that had been run through a blender with a little cheese on top. The salsa that came with them was more of a tomato sauce than a salsa. Perhaps the Mexican fare From Texas is actually quite different from what there is in Southern California. Or perhaps we just need to keep looking for that really great Mexican restaurant.
