On September 19, 2025, I treated my husband for his birthday dinner at this establishment, having heard positive reviews and eagerly anticipating our dining experience.
Upon arrival approximately 45 minutes prior to closing, we found the restaurant experiencing a lull in business; it was slow, which we thought was a good thing. Our anticipation was high, but unfortunately, our experience was profoundly disappointing.
The service provided by our waiter, Cage L., was subpar. His demeanor suggested a lack of enthusiasm for his role. The quality of the food we received was also questionable. My husband holds a salaried position at a school district and, on the side, he is a seasoned server at a reputable steakhouse in Colorado. Consequently, we typically dine at establishments that meet our high expectations.
The ribs were partially over charred (burnt), the coleslaw was excessively drenched in dressing, and the overall taste of the food was lacking in quality. The baked beans just tasted old, like they were on their last limb.
While the ambiance was adequate, our disappointment was compounded by the subpar service and culinary offerings. The food tasted stale, as if it had been reheated from a low quality source.
As a talking point, I inquired with my husband about Gordon Ramsay’s assessment of the establishment, and I am confident that his critique would have been significantly harsher than mine. Despite my willingness to revisit this establishment, my current level of dissatisfaction is substantial.
As a customary tipper, I left Cage L. a modest tip of $9, including a $2 bill. I am aware that he relies on tips as a portion of his income, and I draw from my own experience as a server at the Black Forest Inn in Colorado Springs during my teenage years. I resided in Black Forest, Colorado.
In light of our recent negative experience, I would be receptive to a second opportunity to dine at this establishment if we were to receive some form of compensation, such as a gift card or credit, for the inconvenience caused.

Really expensive for such bad barbecue. The ribs are very dry, the chicken was dry, and the brisket was dry and bland. The garlic toast had maybe a quarter sized buttery bit in the middle and the rest was white. The baked beans and potato salad were okay. The service was slow to start but not bad.

Our favorite restaurant in Parker, everything is so good every time, especially their homemade BBQ sauces and the au gratin potatoes. It is our go to every time we can’t decide where to eat

We picked up the food, brisket and baked potato, the brisket was dry and unsalted at all. Overrated food.

Clean restaurant. Not too noisy. Food was decent- hubs had the brisket sandwich and fries and he said the sandwich was okay, but nothing phenomenal. The fries were yummy. I got a salad and it was delicious.

Ribs are not good...Jalapeño sausage is great! Service is friendly but after giving them multiple opportunities (only BBQ place in parker) the ribs taste baked with no smoke flavor and they leave the membrane on the ribs...what?!

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a couple of years and never really had the opportunity. I recently moved to Parker and my wife surprised me with a dinner out. Jessica, our waitress was very patient and nice. The food, however, was... quite bad for our first time. I ordered rib combo 5, while the catfish was decent, the ribs which they are known for, were DRY and even had crispy edges. My wife went simple and got a burger. It was also VERY dry. After spending about $70 on food, I honestly left very disappointed. I don't think I will even try it again. I will say that the barbecue beans were very good, but I don't think anyone would spend $70 just for some beans. I really had high hopes, but this wasn't what I had in mind.

Delicious barbeque! Only reason for 4 stars was the sides, the augratin potatoes were a huge disappointment. Looked like hash brown potatoes with unflavored cheese sauce. Otherwise the ribs, Chicken, baked beans were delicious!
