I only had a few bites of my meal so I had it boxed up to go. We left and were gone for less then 5 min when I realized I forgot to grab it so we turned around and raced back. Even though we were gone less then 5 min the staff threw it away and the manger only refunded half the food despite the fact the majority was still in there. They refused to make me a new one despite the kitchen still being open and the manager was incredibly rude and intimidating when I asked for a refund.
I believe the staff should’ve held onto the food until they closed they because obviously we wanted it and we should’ve been given time to realize we didn’t have it and come back. If it had been past close I can understand throwing it away but it was less then 5 min before we came back and the manager should have refunded the entire meal since I only ate half the potato, a single rib, and a few bites of pulled pork
Food was good my first time here very good bar b q

Absolute worst experience in a restaurant I've had in awhile! Complete incompetence and lazy attitude from the young lady taking our order at the takeout booth (on 12/22 8pm). Ended up paying close to $50 for 2 burgers that weren't what we ordered. I've eaten at the Aspen location and had a great experience, but this Parker location was horrible. Do Better!!

Lunch specials were large, filling and delicious.
Wednesday - Brisket and ribs with tea toast and choice of 2 sides- Surprisingly large portion of brisket with half-track of ribs were very good. They are par cooked (betting day or 2 before) and have just enough sauce to keep somewhat moist. A couple of sauces available at table.
Vegetarian options: BBQ... So shouldn't be even considered for the vegetarians but there are some salad options. Doubtful a true vegan meal available
Parking: Front parking can be tight but there's more around back

Stopped in on our way to a staycay…we had chicken wings for appetizers, they were over cooked and it was very visible as soon as they brought them to the table…I got the rib & catfish combo, the catfish was awful, very rubbery. And the ribs were underwhelming…sauce made it edible. Au gratin potatoes were a no for me as well…the hubby had prime rib and he said it was very flavorless and to me it did not look visually appetizing. Overall not great experience for $85…Update, the hubby got food poisoning from the prime rib

Walking into Hickory House feels like stepping into BBQ heaven. The warm, cozy atmosphere wraps around you, and the mouthwatering aroma of smoked meats hits you instantly—pure bliss. They boldly claim to have the best ribs in Colorado, and while I can't compare them to others (yet), these ribs set a seriously high bar. Our server, a 16-year veteran of Hickory House, was a true BBQ sage, offering spot-on recommendations that made the experience even better. If you're craving smoky, tender perfection, this spot should be at the top of your list!

We decided to come to Hickory House Ribs & Steaks while out. We were seated promptly and our waitress Jessica took our order. We decided we would get the feast includes baby back ribs, bbq chicken, pulled pork, beef brisket, garlic toast, potatoes, corn on the cob, baked beans, and coleslaw. Let's get the bad out of the way first. No onion rings till further notice. No excuse for this. The garlic toast had zero flavor, just a dried toasted bread. The cheesy potatoes were just okay, could have been cooked a little more. The baked beans, the beans were slightly undercooked and just a ketchup flavor for the sauce. The potato salad was made perfectly as far as texture but seasoning. On to the positives. The Mac N Cheese with bacon bits on top was nice and creamy and the bacon was a major plus. The coleslaw had a nice flavor and crunchy texture. On to the stars. The sausage had a nice coarse texture to it and very flavorful. The brisket and pulled pork were both moist and dried out. Plenty of flavor. The ribs were just a little over cooked but the sauce used was tasty. Our waitress Jessica did a great job of checking on us and doing refills. Overall they are just a middle of road restaurant to me.

We have been several times with my family. The ribs are excellent. I love being able to choose from different bbq sauces at the table. It’s set up as a true barbecue experience from the table clothes to the silverware bucket. The service is great and the employees are very friendly. We had Braedyn seat us and he made us feel welcome. The manager Katelyn brought us our food and checked in. The waitress Michelle was very friendly and checked on us multiple times. The food is always great and fresh. We love taking home leftovers; nothing better than left over bbq.
Vegetarian options: Asparagus, Brussels sprouts, salads, vegan burger
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegetarian options.
Parking: There is free parking all around the building. You have to walk around to the front door though.
Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and there’s a kid’s menu with crayons.
Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a ramp out front and even flooring inside.

The catfish and tarter sauce was really, really good, and the restaurant was decorated nicely. But everything else was pretty meh for how expensive the place was. The ribs were super dry and small. The baked beans were so sweet and didn't have much flavor. The onion rings were okay but surprisingly spicy. Our server kept forgetting to fill our waters and take any empty glasses and empty appetizer baskets off the table so it was really crowded when the main food was served. No one at the table like the BBQ sauce. But if you like catfish, it's the only thing I'd recommend.
