Stone gate is our absolute favorite place to go! We loved our waitress Lea and the vibe she brought when taking care of us! Her bubbly personality and how vibrant she is will make use return and ask for her specifically! We need more waitresses like her! Great crew is hard to come by!!

I try to never leave a bad review. Especially for small non chain restaurants but this restaurant experience was just so awful. It wasn’t super busy so there wasn’t a real reason for the bad service. We have 2 under 2 so going out to eat can be a bit tricky. We ordered a single pancake as soon as we sat down so our 2 year old wouldn’t have to wait for everyone else to decide and then order… 30 minutes later, everyone else’s food came out and the pancake still wasn’t here…. Mine and my wife’s order came out wrong. Nothing major but the things that were wrong were additional add ons that we specifically said no thank you to. (Little hidden $2 uncharges everywhere) Then the pancake finally came out and they said they accidentally spilled a bunch of syrup on it and if we still wanted it or they’d remake it. But at that point it’s been 45 min and my 2 year old is starting to get super fussy and hungry so we just kept the soaked pancake. When the server finally checked in with us after not seeing her for awhile, we let her know the issues and her response made it all feel a bit worse. She didn’t really take any ownership for it and blamed the expo/ food runners. Which I understand sometimes the food comes out wrong but if you’re checking on your tables you’d visibly see what was right or wrong and be able to help. The food wasn’t great either. Nothing special and definitely over priced. My country fried steak tasted like it came from a big bag in the freezer. Super thin, and all breading. All in all, definitely disappointed. They missed the mark in every category. The sad part is that we’re so easy to please. Our standards are pretty low because we’ve both worked in the service industry and sympathize with it. So to drop the ball this bad is pretty noteworthy.

I want to support mom and pop restaurants. I am willing to pay $16 for Rellano breakfast even though it is quite expensive. What I am not okay with is the trickery of $2 for a couple pieces of diced onions added to hash browns. “Are you okay with onions in your hash browns or do you prefer them without?” That is not okay. You lost a loyal customer over $2. Well done.

That pork green chili is everything! I ordered the chili relleno dish, my friends had pancakes, the Benedict, the burrito (huge!!) and biscuits and gravy. Everyone loved their meals. Service was excellent too. Ate so fast I forgot to take a pic 🤤
OMG, I am so picky about green chili and I absolutely lived their green chili on my uavos rancheros. It was so delicious that I bought 2 pints to eat at home! The pancake was light and fluffy. We were done eating and just sitting and talking. They were closing and gave us waters to go and coffee to go and said we could sit on their patio as long as we wanted. Thats great customer service.
