It's American comfort food but you already know, that's what you are there for. The decor is in need of a refresh. The radio is playing golden age pop music but thats ok for me I'm a veteran of the 50s 60s 70s 80s 90s etc. There a big screen tv playing sports, not my thing but its not too intrusive. It's clearly popular so the clientele fit that demographic, and its not too pricey. Reliably no frills American diner without the diner style, but still here, pandemic survivor.

The host was very kind and accommodating, we were seated fairly quick being a Sunday. Our waiter got our drinks and food order, but that was all the interaction we had with him. He did not come back to ask if it was ok or if we needed anything, or to give us boxes or the check. Food was delicious, had a great brunch with my mom ... minus the less than stellar waiter.

This cozy cafe is tucked away in the corner of the plaza and can be easy to miss. The diner makes good use of its small space with ample seating but does not have much space left if you need to wait for a table. I haven't been during a particularly busy time but I imagine it can get cramped. The menu is large and offers standard, if generic, breakfast and lunch options. It is easy to customize your dishes and there's good vegetarian options. Service was super friendly and quick. The meals I've had were good but nothing really stood out in a special way. It was a good spot to drop in and out for lunch during the week.

We decided to stop in here and try it after an early morning hockey game. They have the best green chili I’ve had in a restaurant. The rellenos and eggs were cooked perfectly. My husband had the chicken fried steak and green chili, amazing and crispy. My daughter had the pancakes and she said they were fluffy and full of flavor. My son (5) had the Migas and loved every bite.So happy to have found a good breakfast place that takes pride in their food, service, and overall experience.
