First time in here tonight. Took some family in that’s here from out of town. Service was great! Our waitress was super friendly and very on-top of everything. The owner (I believe Bob) was extremely friendly and even checked on our table a few times. We sat on the lower level and had a great experience! Food was great we had tilapia tacos, burgers, patty melts, boys, salmon, wings, and a few appetizers that were great. We will absolutely be back. The menu here absolutely has something for everyone, it’s huge! Thanks again!!

Takoda Tavern State is such a friendly and welcoming place. The owner, Bob, is absolutely awesome—he personally greets everyone and makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. You can truly tell this is a place where people matter. The staff is amazing as well—super friendly, always willing to interact with customers, and great to have genuine conversations with. It’s also incredibly Veteran-friendly, which makes it even more special and appreciated. And the food… the burgers are outstanding. You can absolutely tell they’re cooked on a real grill—juicy, flavorful, and done right. Easily some of the best bar burgers around. This has quickly become our regular go-to spot. Amazing atmosphere, great people, fantastic food—highly recommend! 🍔🍻

My husband and his buddy, both Veterans, went to Takoda Tavern for Veteran’s Day. He said he chose to go there knowing the owner is a Veteran. The waitress flat ignored them. They ended up having to be served by the bartender and going up to the bar and asking for menus. What a joke. Do better.
I asked him how his dinner was when he got home and said “I always want to give Takoda Tavern another chance but every time I go I’m disappointed.”
Takoda’s holds a special place in my families hearts. We always receive good service and enjoy being there. Last night we had my grandpas 90th birthday celebration there. As usual the staff and owners were so sweet. Special shoutout to Lex who took fantastic care of our huge crew all night. Thank you for always being wonderful Takodas!

This place was great! First time in there for me and it happened to be for a high school sports banquet. The manager, James is awesome and struck up a conversation with me right away and made me feel very welcome. The bartenders upstairs were also awesome. They always made sure to ask if I needed anything else. I will be back regardless. Considering having a company party there now! Highly recommended!
