It looks like those bad reviews were at the height of Covid, when all restaurants were struggling. I don't know, even then I never experienced anything bad. We have been eating at this Village Inn faithfully since 2020, and find it nothing short of amazing! We go here nearly every week, on different days and at different times of the day. The food is always prompt, hot, and delicious. Every item in their fairly extensive menu is good! Pancakes are the best we've found in the Denver area! Burgers are juicy and tasty, pot roast is to die for! Ok the chicken fingers are just ok, but mostly the fare is consistently better than you would get a more expensive restaurant. The service is great, too! It's hard to find such reasonable prices these days, and how can you beat free pie on Wednesdays? Love singing along with the oldies music, too. My only complaint is that in late summer and fall their air conditioning can be too cold, but I'll put on a sweater, because it's worth it!

Always delightful to come here! We've been coming for years now and have yet to have a bad experience. We're always seated quickly, it's always clean and well lit. Some of the staff remember us, but they're all equally wonderful. The food is excellent and affordable as well, why else would we keep coming back? The only downside is that the bathrooms smell absolutely terrible, but only if you're inside them. They're clean and well stocked, they just reek.

Our first server was great but when seHe went on break it went down hill. No refills on our drinks and she forgot my pie. The whole reason I begged my husband to take me 30 minutes our of our way to go have chicken fried steak and triple berry pie. I get home and find only his apple pie in the bag. Talk about broken hearted. I had been asking for months to go to village inn and finally was close enough to parker to make it convincing to go. As they go rid of our castle rock location. Now that I'm upset of course the rest of the meal was only satisfactory, wasn't amazing. But worth it when I thought I was going to finally get my triple berry pie. Tried calling but they are already closed tonight so they get a review instead as they do not have a voicemail box.

We waited a long time for our order. Other tables were served before we were, even though we ordered first. The food arrived cold so we sent it back. Nobody apologized. The manager said they were doing their best. Then she said she was going back into the kitchen to finish cooking for us. After we got our food the second time, she came back and informed us that it "temped at 142 degrees". The implication being it was hot the first time which it certainly was not. When the waitress brought the check, she said it would be adjusted at the cash register. When we got to the cash register, nobody knew anything about the adjustment so they called the manager to come up and talk to us. She was extra snippy this time and finally gave us a senior discount ($4.00) which we should have gotten in the first place. She said she "never agreed to a discount, but whatever." We never got anything resembling an apology.

There are sketchy village inn locations and there are those few good ones where everything is fresh and the restaurant is clean. This is one of the good ones!! Everyone enjoyed their food today.
