We’re thankful Bugling Elk Vineyards & Winery took part in our festival. Their owner, made strong by a Green Beret background, is experimenting with varieties like Marquette and Cabernet Doré — adapting to Colorado’s climate after losing many Malbec vines, but moving forward with resilience. Their story resonated with guests, and wines like the Velvet Red Blend 2023 showed both character and heart.

Shawn is the master and the sampling wines were great! I settled on the Rag Horn Red and my husband at the first taste was set on the Summer Passion Riesling.
Great atmosphere and client base to enjoy the wonderful wine they have to offer.

What an incredibly cool place! We were kindly greeted by Sean and Alexis who went above and beyond for us after a long day of travel. The wines were absolutely delicious and the winery was beautiful! This cozy spot is a must try if you are in the area. Thank you for your service, Sean!
