Ordered there shrimp fried rice meal came with soup, egg roll and cream cheese wonton. I enjoy it it was very good I should have ask for bean sprouts cause I think they belong in fried rice in from Detroit and man out that way the fried rice is the best. But this place gave me run for my money. I like how the rice was without soy sauce it was good that’s how u know good fried rice if you eat it without the soy sauce and it taste good then u got you some good food. Over all I would eat here again and I would recommend the portion size you could feed two people off that one meal seriously.

I’m not typically a bad reviewer and I’ve ate some real garbage in my day but we just spent 32$ on some dry, flavorless pad thai. Tasted like week old, microwaved spaghetti. They also charged us more than what’s listed on the menu. We literally threw it all in the trash and made grilled cheese.

My husband and I have a joke about this place. It's call "China Recipe" because it's literally the one recipe. 🤣

In all seriousness though, if you order "orange-flavored" chicken and the General Tao's chicken, it is the same sauce, just different things added to it (like orange peels to the orange chicken). I also think it is just sweet and sour sauce, that's it! So really no distinction between the two.

The sesame chicken we ordered did have a distinct sauce, so at least that was different!

The egg rolls were included free with our order with a coupon, but man they were GROSS. Instead of the crispy cabbage filling we're used to, it was like mushy sauerkraut consistency. Not appetizing, but at least we didn't pay for them!

We ordered here because Bamboo Garden is closed on Tuesdays and we really wanted Chinese food, but it's not our go-to. The reason I gave this place 2 stars instead of one is because the food wasn't entirely bad (minus the egg rolls) and the portions were HUGE, so it was a good bargain for what you pay. We've had our leftovers for lunch for the past two days and we're still working through it!

I hope they work on improving their recipes and maybe this could be our new place, but until then it's better to hold out for Bamboo Garden.

A quiet little place (not busy).
Staff very friendly.
Soups were better than the local competition, but the rest of the food was rather oily (greasy).
Overall good experience. Will go again, but will request that they "go easy on the oil" (I've had pretty good success with that at other places)

After knowing I was probably very concerned about an item I left at their restaurant that day, when they closed up for the night, the staff was able to track me down and literally brought the item to my house doorstep. I can’t say enough how very thankful I am for their service, thoughtfulness and concern. I’m a true customer!!!! Food is yummy too.

So, I ordered and repeated the order three times. Nope still not right. Not sure how this place went down hill this much. Been 8 months since it was bought out, definitely not worth it. The prices are high and still do not get what you ordered.
