Meal serving and food was average for price. Facility was less than modern, the staff were the greatest experience.

If you want home cooking, it's definitely the place to stop. Marion is a top notch cook!

Parking: You have a large open lot so it's easy to get a camper, trailer, boat or motor home parked and right of the interstate so easy access.

I have passed this place a few times and they were always busy so I would go somewhere else. What a shame! I should know if a place is busy every time they must be good.

I ordered a plain bacon cheeseburger, with pickles on the side and french fries. My husband had everything on his. It was delicious.

The size of our sodas was huge.

Our server was very nice, polite and attentive.

I usually don't eat dessert but when I saw the list of pies, well we each took a slice to go. Blueberry and one cherry both great

The atmosphere is quaint leaves a taste of nostalgia.

We’d been on the road for hours, headed east from Denver and could not find a regular “ breakfast chain” restaurant for miles. My daughter found Lucy’s in her Google search. Pulled in and wondered if it was open for so few cars out front. Went in and found a charming little old style diner-type restaurant. We found one cook, one waitress and one person who was apparently keeping the place tidy. Selections were pretty good with regular breakfast choices, but for those of us who prefer something different, they even serve Buffalo burgers as well. One of our group is a vegetarian and they were also able to accommodate her also. The pancakes were enormous and they brought out the sweetest cantaloupe I’d tasted in a long time! As more customers arrived, our waitress still took the time to keep my husband’s coffee cup filled and ask if we needed anything else. Someone ought to be advertising this little gem a little better! All workers were friendly and helpful. How refreshing to watch old time black and white movies on the TV instead of blaring rock music while you eat! I doubt we will ever get over that way again, but I wish some of our restaurant chains would take a lesson from the ladies who run this place. I’d be there on a regular basis for the service alone! You started our morning off right… Thank you, Lucy and crew! God bless you all!

Vegetarian options: The pancakes were enormous! Just pancakes and fruit could fill you up. But they serve eggs, cinnamon rolls, etc. unfortunately, the gravy was a sausage gravy.
