Stopped to eat lunch after church with our kids. First time, first waitress wasn’t pleasant esp asking questions about the food or even having honey! Second waitress helped with anything we were missing. Took awhile to get refills or got up to get a refill at the bar even when the waitress passed us several times. They automatically took around $18 for a tip that they said it’s bc our party was big & their machine can’t take it off. They also said they had to charge us the $5 fee for our debit card bc we didn’t pay cash… good food but not service!

Food was good, but service was bad she gave everyone when they asked for smth attitude and when we asked for a refill she huffed and puffed for one little thing place would be a lot better without the attitude.

Acacia served me tonight and was great. I sat at the bar quietly and over 15 minutes, maybe 20 I asked the bartender (not my server) 3 questions; How are your Moscow Mules, politely answered first question. Second and third question; Do people prefer Tito’s for it or something else, with an unprofessional response “I don’t know, whatever they pick. The third question, are your mushrooms popular? “I don’t know” spoken with attitude and then walked away. Now, she was busy and definitely a little behind, but as someone that has worked as a server and a bartender in a much harsher environment in a big city, I know this is unacceptable behavior. I’ve left three bad reviews for companies in my life, whatever your name is ma’am, good thing Acacia was polite enough to apologize for your rudeness. You see, my question were small talk, but that last question was your most unprofessional. You can’t tell your customers what food is on the menu, or you can’t tell someone “yes” if they ask if it is good or popular.
To the 4kings bartender tonight, you didn’t know who I was and thought that made it okay to be rude, whether I am a rich man or a bum, you work there and we are paying you for those drinks and that food. You should know yes or no answers without it being overwhelming. Acacia, I appreciate you making the attempt to make amends, but she needs to do that, and needs to remember those are paying customers in her bar and restaurant, so maybe she should sell them on buying food and drinks, even if it means the business is swamped. Probably for
No other reason than it is your job. 2 stars for the bartender for being busy, but handling it poorly. 5 stars for Acacia, answered questions, apologized for this woman running the bar, getting my food in a timely manner and using her manners even after I explained my unhappiness with this woman’s attitude. Remember, we have the money, they are providing services we pay for, and 4kinds bartender that worked tonight’s shift, HARD F on professionalism and performance.

One of my favorites in Westcliffe and Silvercliffe. The burgers are always good. Beer is cold. Scenery outstanding. The kitchen can be a little slow, particularly during high season and especially around holidays. If you don't want to wait for a burger just go with the nachos.

Fun place with a great view of theWet Mountains Range. Staff is very engaging and friendly!
Parking: Plenty of parking in a huge lot with handicap parking as well.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wide entry with plenty of room for wheelchairs.
Dietary restrictions: My father-in-law requires a special diet and was well accommodated.
