I am from Texas. We have a condo up here. This is by far our most favorite Mexican food place. Genuine Mexican food. The services is great. The drinks are perfect.

Just paid $75 for margaritas no one is even tasting tequila. One pitcher and two skinny margaritas and no one is even a little buzzed. A lot of money to spend on mixer.

I get Mexican food very often at least 2x per week so Im not easily impressed by tacos but these were really good. The meat was full of flavor and they didn't need toppings at all.

Stopped for dinner with friends living in the area. They informed us that the place recently underwent renovations. The space was nice inside but the daylight colored lights made it feel sterile in the booth seating area.The food was good but the service was not the best. Someone at our table ordered a cocktail but hadn't received it by the time food came out. At that point they no longer wanted the drink as it would feel rushed so they didn't bring it up to our server. The bill however still included the charge for the illusive cocktail which they thankfully removed after we pointed it out.

Changing my review because the restaurant changed ingredient providers, most likely switched to Sysco frozen food truck garbage just like every other Colorado mountain town looking for a massive increase in profits with food quality going down the drain.As a former local, I used to love Fritangas and visited weekly. Now it's a different restaurant with the same name.

Thursday January 4th, google says this restaurant is open. Phone rang with no answer or message. Drove there - door is locked with no sign or information.There is no excuse for the lack of communication. Even if you’re closing permanently, put a sign on the door telling people.

Last time we were here it was amazing. Today not so much. Changed to plastic plates - smaller portions. Plates were ceramic and hot which made food hot. This time Food was cold. Last time we had leftovers and were stuffed. Today we easily finished it all. Also the chicken enchilada and chicken burrito were identical. No sauce or cheese or anything special inside. Plain chicken. Both covered with same sauce. ?? Bean tostadas - smear of cold beans. Maybe the smallest pinch of shredded cheese. Not melted of course bc beans cold. Worth 50 cents if hot. We will give one more chance maybe. But this was not good.
