Pancakes are usually unremarkable, these are remarkable! I'd prefer butter to oil spread. Homey, unpretentious atmosphere. Portions are generous: Come hungry, leave happy!

Ew packet gravy (if you aren't making homemade gravy, why even bother having that crap on the menu??), soggy hash browns, chicken fried steak that tasted like dog food, asked for water twice and never got any.

Huevos rancharos, eggs over pile of ranchero beans,not really pork green Chilli. Didn't see any pork. Watery soupy beans around. Worst I've ever seen. They had the best at one time - not now, A waste of my money. Never again.

I found that the staff was more interested in talking to each other them spending time on customer service.
My English muffin was not toasted, my eggs had cheese in them, and never an offer of coffee refill. And price was crazy ($7 for coffee cake).
My son had French toast which was just bread, no taste.
Prices were high compared to other nicer restaurants.
The service was so rude, that we ended up leaving without ordering, if you don’t want to open at 7am, don’t, however, do not make people deal with your am attitude.

I recently visited the mountain Lyon cafe and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Upon arrival, I was surprised to find that payment is required before you even step sit down. If I had known how the service would unfold, I certainly would have reconsidered leaving a tip.
Once seated, the staff seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves behind the bar than attending to the customers. Despite the restaurant not being particularly busy, we were never approached after our food arrived to see if we needed anything. In fact, my daughter had to get up and walk over to the counter just to ask for a fork, which should have been provided without hesitation.
To make matters worse, one of the employees became quite rude when I didn’t know to ask for a number for our table. There was no guidance or instruction given, which only added to the confusion and frustration of the experience.
Overall, I was left feeling undervalued as a customer, and it’s disappointing to see a place with potential fall short in terms of service. I hope they can improve their approach to customer care in the future
