Locally sourced, community driven, and exceptional service from the staff. over all an authentic place that has real heart put into every aspect of their business.

Taking into account there is no dedicated kitchen space the food menu is very crafty and well done for a light breakfast with your drink

The community dedication & location along the river & bike paths is by far my favorite draw!

10/10 stop if you’re passing through on I-70 & need a break or staying in summit county on vacation.

We're coffee shop ppl, we frequent them all and this is our favorite in Summit. Lattes are yummy and beautiful. There's a bring your own mug discount. Food is also great (which is often NOT the case in coffee shops!), esp w addition of bfast sammies. Service is great, even when they get a rush. They are always well staffed - a challenge in the mountains. We are big fans of the community tables and the conversations started w both locals and visitors. They've got a cozy couch and rockers including a kids corner w toys and books. The patio outside overlooks the river and is glorious. The tables out front and back are frequented by the many dogs of summit and they provide water bowls.

The staff here is always so nice and welcoming. The homemade vanilla and lavender syrups are so good, and the Asiago bagel is amazing. Easiest 5 stars ever!!

Unfriendly staff. We went late morning, place was very quiet, we waited nearly 20 minutes for our two sandwiches while three employees stood behind the counters, all on their phones. When our food finally did arrive, it was practically thrown on our table no “enjoy “, no “do you need anything else? “ she plopped it down without saying a word, turned on her heel and headed back to her phone. The food was mediocre, portions very small. As we left, we said thank you. Have a good day, no response. Still on their phones.
On the way to our car, I thought about our dining experience, and couldn’t help, but wonder if their frigid attitudes toward us might have been because my husband left no tip when paying on our credit card after ordering. He instead prefers to leave cash, and most often based on the service he receives. On this day, we felt completely justified in, leaving no tip on our table before leaving the restaurant. And we won’t be back.

This coffee place might be good for coffee exclusively but if you’re hungry and want to have breakfast don’t come here, I paid $16 with 20% added tip to that for that tiny burrito 💔
