we waited for 15 min. and asked for water and the person said she wasn't out waitress but gave us chips. The people waiting to be seated behind us knew the hostess. They already had water, drinks, and appetizers. We left after 20 min. of waitress and waiters looking at us and walking away. We left when we saw another table that came in 2 tables after us with drinks. Guess you got to know the hosts and waiters to get service.
The food was horrible, besides the chips. Queso was 10$ for a tiny bowl, and overall it was terrible. Our waiter messed up our orders, and was not accommodating when trying to make changes to our orders that weren’t exactly that was on the menu.

Ramon's in South Fork was an excellent choice. If you like Mexican food and want some very nice service this is a good place to stop. We always have a hard time deciding where to eat and this place did not disappoint. It was my daughters boyfriends birthday and they sang happy birthday in 2 different languages. And did I mention the food was great!

A hidden gem in the middle of nowhere! The food was delicious, the service friendly, and the salsa was top-notch!
If you have a Mexican taste and is a meat lover, you will enjoy this place. The restaurant is slightly short of staff, which means you may need to wait for 15-30min before getting seated, and food takes a while to get on the table. However, we believe it’s worth the wait! We ordered their signature dishes #40 Banderrilla (really tender beef 5/5) and #37 Carnitas Plate (super tender pork with a crispy surface 5/5). The 2 plates together are a little too much for 2 people, even though we were really hungry.

Food was good, but the waiter wasn't. He wasn't very attentive or pleasant.

We came in with a large party at the end of the night. The food and service were all excellent! They were able to accommodate the picky vegetarians. Lol! The carne asada was perfect. Thank you!

Food badly needed some veggies with it the normal lettuce and stuff you get at Mexican restaurants to add to the tortilla.
They were very busy so I understand the wait to get in but even once in our drinks didn't get refilled and food took forever. Don't come hungry.

Seated immediately. Ordered number 15 on the menu. Ground beef. The chips are crunchy, the regular sauce is mild but very flavorful! The spicy salsa has a lingering heat which is nice. Rice is done well and the refried beans are excellent. Tacos are full of beef lettuce and cheese!
Looks like this will be on my list of things to do when I'm in South Fork every year.
Everyone here was friendly and seem like they liked their job.

Carnitas were just like home. We traveled from Texas to some great Mexican food in Southfork!
